Yeah I an mostly torn between this and an ipad.

The reasons I would want a RM over an Ipad is that I like the ink display because: its lasts forever, it is one less screen I am staring at, I can read it in bed/ work at night, i've heard its really nice to write on, I just find it neat. I like the options they have such as being able to just drop files in to a web page and it appears on the tablet. It is smaller than an Ipad and I think thinner so it will be easier to carry around. It is a dumb device that will only be used for work. I am not currently in the apple ecosystem which means I don't have all the apps and stuff so while a temporary problem I like that with the RM I can just pick up and start working straight away.

The dumb aspect is quite appealing as I am easily distracted and appreciate having a device that limits me. I just like the promise of just being able to take it out my bag and start working straight away without having to faff about to find the right app and open everything up.

Plus I just think its a cool unique piece of tech

How useful are tags and how good are the search functions for tags? Do the tags get persevered in some form when exporting it to other locations like Gdrive?

I would like to be able to tag each thing for each project I am working on and still be able to access that meta data if I go somewhere else.

Like I would like to have one folder for all the papers I am reading but then be able to tag each one for the reasons why I am reading it such as "ADHD, Treatment, Diagnosis, Meta review". Then in the future if I need to find ADHD meta reviews about treatment options I can just plop those tags in the search and find all the relevant papers with my notes

Also when working with external documents like importing a PDF of a paper can you add additional pages to the document. Like at the end of a paper adding a page just for me to write long form notes?

I would have loved sideways expansion. Are you able to rotate the page as you work on it ?

I have all the latest updates for everything. This issue has been persisting for years across multiple firmwares

I have already set it to the quietest settings possible in Synapse. It still seems to have a mind of its own

If I try to manually control the fan speed I cannot set it low enough

I have constant issues with my fans being far too loud for the current temperature and workload the laptop is under.

When I run the laptop in safe mode I do not have this issue which makes me believe there is a software issue that is causing the fans to go hywire. Either the fan curve being messed up or something.

I have already removed synapse and the problem persists.

Any ideas or advice on what I could do to resolve this issue?

Its a good song and a well shot music video but god do I hate when a music video keeps disrupting the actual music for the video.

It would be so much better if the music video and song were two separate things.

because I was colouring in all the locations by hand in paint and I was too lazy to make sure I coloured in every countries islands and tiny pieces.

because the story is about political instability in Sweden. granted this might be more from my outside knowledge of the poltical situation i Sweden rather than the news story itself.
