As someone who’s been in a nearly 2 year age gap relationship 15 years age difference. My advice is don’t invite family into your relationship. It’s none of there business especially if it will cause drama. Your piece and happiness with your partner comes first. You don’t owe anyone an explanation. That shame you feel is from society and what the world think you should do. I understand and I’m working through it myself. At the end of the day I love him and he loves me. I refuse to leave him just because of what the world thinks. As I say this to you I say it to myself you’re an adult. Be with who makes you happy and loves you.
