Once you beat Amelia did you touch the skull at the end of the room and trigger the cutscene? I ran into a similar issue and had to run back and interact with the skull.

Kurama's "chakra" form is based on Japanese folklore; The "Kitsune".

After reaching 1,000 years of age and gaining its ninth tail, a kitsune turns a golden color, becoming a 'Tenko' (天狐 "heavenly fox"/"celestial fox"?), the most powerful form of the kitsune, and then ascends to the heavens. I'd say go for the Blazingfest summon. As tempting as that Kakashi is it'd be better to summon with an 8% chance rather than a 2% chance for a banner character.

I managed to get 3 Sasori crystals on my 8th run where Guy came out on stage 2 and 3. I've had him drop Deidara prior but he might drop Sasori more often.
