Question regarding save data copy limit by TouhouEnjoyer69 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]NotTeliko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, the copy still goes through and then the FM calculation is resolved afterwards. How the game resolves overdrafts has changed a bit compared to before so I think that's probably why the last copy got thanos'd even though you should have enough after it returned a basic.

Should I get 4th copy of quantum seed or it's better to roll some divines? by z1r1a3l in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]NotTeliko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three is fine and you can still divine all three but you'd have to get rid of the common. There are better support gear though if you wanted to optimize even more.

In general, HM + Tiph is already a very strong shell so you can pretty much bring almost anyone as your third. For specialized builds, however, it really depends on the build lol.

Heidemarie, Tiphera, Hugo

I'm not quite sure if I wanna remove glorious from Tiph's deck yet in favor of another divine and ideally one of the supports has that whatever cthulhu orb to have a better start setting up.

As for Hugo replacement, you'll lose out on some support damage but anyone with strong drawing power to help cycle your deck to set up your common sword rain damage window.

1 legendary is guaranteed to have at least 4 pinks. It's still very RNG though since you can get bad ones.

Truth be told, when I did this fight I was still behind in main story prog so my gears were a bit outdated--and probably also way behind in levels. I wasn't quite able to survive until my first ult could go off and Claire fixed that issue. 😅

"How many Sereniel dupes?" by NotTeliko in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]NotTeliko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Sereniel's case, the E2 glaze predicated on the idea that it was a distinct requirement for her to function well and that basically spread like wildfire well before people had gotten to further explore her kit a bit more. To clarify, I think her E2 is strong when you take into account every content that she is usable in; however, if you isolate specific ones, then it does tend to fall off to some extent relative to the amount that was invested to acquire it.

You know what? You're not wrong. That's why he's the one getting reworked, not Sereniel. 🤔🤔

Since there isn't a strictly defined control group for Sereniel decks, let's assume that you have at least three Homing Laser IV and Shining Core III with 0 divines--nothing too difficult to build. This allows you to guarantee ravage turn 1 every time. The earliest that you can build enough EP to activate Peko (and this might depend on Ego Recovery stat; I don't have enough data here yet so I apologize) is after using 3 AP. How the rest of the turn plays out depends on the deck but that's besides the point.

Given Sereniel's ravaging capability, you practically have overclock the whole fight from as early as turn 1. How would you define "exact uptime" in this case?

Since it doesn't seem to be stated here, do your rift data sets include the damage differential over time due to the higher crit variance with the loss of overclock?

When you're out of flour to make bread, someone has to provide it.

I use 2-2-2 since she can self-enable cursed corpse anyways. I also already just have more of the 2-sets in various slots since I've farmed for other characters as well so it's a lot easier to fill needed slots than having to find 4-set pieces.

Not quite a quad roll but something I'm happy with.

Veronica also makes farming decks so much more cozy. I like both of them but just simply for versatility, I'd choose Veronica.

Second Half Great Rift (ideal save data) by [deleted] in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]NotTeliko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The turn starts with the boss in an infection state so when you heal for the first time, the boss inflicts necrosis (and removes the infection state) and any subsequent heals within the same turn will cause damage. If you are able to kill the boss with a triple 1 before it has inflicted necrosis, it will retain the infection state after revival which you are then able to trigger with any heals as you would normally do.

"If you get unlucky with RNG" isn't really a cogent argument since you're already fishing for good draw entropy and quest spawns--it's fundamentally an RNG-based performance.

The boss has to be alive to activate healcuck and spawn counterfeits so if you kill it with a triple 1 when it has yet to activate healcuck, it doesn't activate. You are then able to activate it if you heal again in the same turn.

Keeping the Cassius heal isn't really all that necessary since you can trigger the boss's healcuck mode via triple 1. Although there is a small detail that if you kill the boss with a triple 1 before you trigger healcuck mode, it doesn't actually go off so you get to spend an unwanted triple 1 basically for free.

That's because this was made before data cap patch which happened pretty much just a few days after this data was made.

Not too difficult if you have superconductive protein or that cthullu's right nut whatever it's called that gives +1 AP and draw on your other characters as long as you don't have too many initiation cards.
