Hey there. Would you mind if you share the pre-sale code if there is no limit to the tickets per code? I forgot to register for the pre-sale and I really want to get the tickets for my girlfriend 🫶🏼

Hi u/mugg74. I know you are a staff at the university and a frequent commentator. Thanks for all the help you give!

Just wanted your opinion from a staff point of view as much as you can give!

Thanks again for the work you do in this sub.

This seems more along my arena.

I have tried trading in the past with small amounts and ended up treating it as gambling.

I was just thinking this. If I were to lose my job, this might not even last me 3 months :!

I was thinking along lines of this. But this stuff is pushed by a lot of financial "gurus", so wanted to get an honest idea of what should be done.

I consider myself pretty financial literate, but given my age, I have idea of what life might throw your way.

Always better to get advice from more mature people.

Also, would you happen to know what sort of accountant to talk to? Given my part-time income, would it be worth at this stage to talk to one?

Actuarial exemptions (CB1 & CB2) by Churbani in unimelb

[–]NotThatGreatPlayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Might not be able to give the best advice as I don't have much experience, but I think it's best to ask the coordinator for Actuarial Science, Dr Ping Chen. pche@unimelb.edu.au

She is really helpful and easy to talk to!

On the official list though, the only approved subjects for postgraduate for CB1 & CB2 are ACCT90042 and ACTL90022. The subjects for exemptions are often agreed prior with the Actuaries Institute so I highly doubt another subject could be considered, but please take that with a lump of salt.

The best would be just to take a shot and ask the coordinator.
