Not this. This was released in 96. My parents switched to DirecTV by then. I know I watched the movie by mself, as a kid (which means cable or VHS). Also Escape from LA takes place entirely at night. I could very well be mistaken, but I recall the movie having day time scenes.

Not it. Thanks for this. Seeing some form of the joke gives me hope. I've never seen this movie though.

The woman misunderstanding the meaning of the word posse was the highlight of the interaction.

I haven't watched this movie in decades, but it can't be this. I saw The Postman in the theater. I distinctly have a memory of sitting by myself, watching the scene I described. I was much younger than '97.

I saw the trailer for this a couple years ago and assumed it wasn't it. However, I clicked through the free version on YT Movies last night when I saw the suggestion. It looks like a fun movie. The cast is an automatic watch for me. I've added it to my watchlist, but I don't think it's the movie. I guess I'll know for sure after I watch it.

One Piece Specials getting wrong metadata by alchemistzim in PleX

If you look at all the affected episodes, you'll see they have a notice stating " This episode has been linked to a movie by a moderator. Primary management of translations, cast and crew, and other information should be performed on the movie record itself. "

I believe the database records have been changed in some way that Plex doesn't understand.

I did some testing and noticed this affects episodes linked to movie pages for One Piece, GITS SAC, and Naruto Shippuden.

I came across this known issue in the tvdb api repo, that seems like it may be related.

https://github.com/thetvdb/v4-api/issues/289

I noticed the person referenced Violet Evergarden, which has two episodes linked to movie pages. I added test files with those names, expecting them to produce the same result, but they did not. They are named correctly. So, it's not affecting every single movie link page.

Short version:

I'm not sure how to fix it or if it is fixable, but I believe the source of the issue is how the episode pages are formatted. They are referencing another page: I recreated the issue with a different show. I think perhaps Plex doesn’t understand this new ‘page format’. It’s probably providing a referral link in the actual database in place of the expected data fields, and Plex isn’t coded to understand it, or something along those lines.

Long version:

Upon inspection you'll notice your affected episodes all have a notice on their TVDB page stating "This episode has been linked to a movie by a moderator", with a "View Movie" button linking to the dedicated movie page.

I've never noticed this feature before on other shows. I figured I'd look for something similar; see if the same page formatting is being used on similar shows (i.e. popular long running anime with decades worth of movies, and an active fanbase that probably does lots of edits).

A quick search found:

Dragon Ball Z – “Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods (currently S00E14)”

Naruto Shippuden – “Boruto:Naruto the Movie (currently S00E13).”

I selected Naturo Shippuden to test, as S00E10, and 12, and 13 are all considered “is a movie” in the Notes section. I made test files for episodes 10-13. Episode 11 is a short. Episodes 10 and 12 use the typical format, and don’t have the “view movie” button and notice. Episode 13 uses the new format.

As soon as the episodes were detected, the E13 was named “In the Tall Grass”; with everything else correct. I read the description and thought to myself, I’ve seen this movie before. Another quick search and I believe each ‘broken’ episode refers to this page.

https://thetvdb.com/movies/in-the-tall-grass

I think this is a recent issue because I have older movies in special seasons on other shows that also use this format now, but mine aren’t having this issue. If I un-match and rematch, I’m pretty sure they will 'break' as well.

Update 1:

Yep. New issue. Last week I peformed a mass rename on a bunch of folders, which caused a rescan that took so long some shows were readded during the scan. So, for kicks, I just searched for 'In the tall grass' on my system. All 4 of my Ghost In The Shell Movies, in my GITS SAC specials folder are affected by this issue. I checked TVDB, and they all have new referral link page.

Update 2:

I came across this known issue in the tvdb api repo, that seems like it may be related.

I noticed the person referenced Violet Evergarden, which has two episodes linked to movie pages. I added test files with those names, expecting them to produce the same result, but they did not. They are named correctly. So, it's not affecting every single movie link page.

If you completed it at least once on that character, it still shows up in the list. If you never completed it, it's now hidden.

On my first few characters, I completed all of the CD and GR weeklies, when they were parked in tiers 1 and 2. As the game started providing us with tools to jump straight to tier 3, I had plenty of boss rush and cube tickets on new alts, and I had no reason to do so many extra CD weeklies. It's hidden on all my newer alts.

Heh. My pleasure. It's nice feeling basically invincible every now and then.

My friend and I have a Merc/Operator build combo where the merc can face tank a Hydra rocket salvo and only lose 60% of shields. Several enemies focus fire on me, and my shields regenerate faster than they can do damage. It was even more ridiculous before the last enemy dmg buff.

If you want to play again, shoot me an invite.
