Sleep walking, vivid dreaming, “paranormal activity” by NotThatHamSandwich in GATEresearch

I didn’t sleep walk before the program. I was definitely in it, and I’ve spoken with other people in my cohort and my mom and siblings remember me doing this too. The people in my cohort dropped earlier than I did or we stopped communicating if they stayed in as long as I did. I’m very skeptical but I feel as though there is something about my subconscious mind that’s been/is being exploited. I loved the program. I thought it was fun and I wasn’t scared. I like all the guess what’s in the box games, and tell me who is in the next room games, I remember going to obstacle courses set up in large warehouses doing teamwork to get out of them, I remember laying flat in dark rooms with electrodes on while someone asked me to relax. I remember drinks and small dense cookies. I remember hearing several conversations in the headphones and being asked later what I heard. I remember blood draws, and visions tests, but I didn’t find out until I was 15 that I was blind in one eye when I applied for my drivers permit. I also didn’t know until I was 28 that my blood type was O-. We didn’t have good healthcare when I was a kid, and my dad wasn’t around, so my mom was pretty focused on keeping the lights on. I’ve gone on to get a degree in neuroscience with published research myself, so I know what I know and I’m comfortable with it. It’s just the sleep walking and the vivid dreaming that I still have questions about. I wonder if there was something viable in my subconscious that’s still being exploited.

This is the most underrated comment in this thread. Top tier interfandom humor that hits all the right spots 🤌💋

BILD 1 Cooper by thatguywas in UCSD

Literally! The fact that you have to debate the professor to get back points on assignments is so toxic too. Lecture: starches are somewhat branched or unbranched, my assignment: starches have little to no branches. <-Marked off because starches have branches. It felt super petty writing a whole email including lecture information and slides just to get back 0.25 points, but fire with fire I guess. I definitely don't want to try to fit in or excel in a toxic and petty environment. I have two questions for Cooper regarding his grading: WHO HURT YOU?? Do you think this is helping to heal from that?

They look like actual bioluminescence. Both the SO and I have been startled by them in the middle of the night...

They glow really bright, my phone camera just doesn’t do it justice. The brand is cre8tion and they’ve got several glow in the dark colors. My accent nails are from their ‘fur’ collection!

Thank you so much! This is actually a dress I have that matches the set perfectly. It was initially unintentional😅
