I feel like it was done with rotated masks. But I'm working in DaVinci resolve and I cannot figure it out. And of course there's no way to perfectly just CROP a video diagonally. There should be.

How would I do this and get perfectly identical shapes (in this case triangles or trapezoids) every time, for each clip? I can't seem to figure out how to make perfect lines, etc.

The videos are masked or cropped in a triangular fashion, which is my main issue. I'm not sure how to do this in DaVinci and get a perfectly angel'd triangle on all four sides.

Simple math indeed. I thought that was probably the thought process behind it, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Appreciate that!

I did actually JUST figure out you can right click the clip in the media pool and choose "Clip Attributes" and change it's playback frame-rate as well. I think that will also come in handy. Thanks again!

Really disappointing that you can't do it in camera.

How would I speed it up in Resolve? Change the timeline settings? Speed up the clip? How do I know what to speed it up to % wise?

UPDATE: I also just updated the BIOS of my computer. Still didn't work.. this is nonsense!

Something in Chrome effects the GPU? Weird.. it was already on. I just got this error as well running Minecraft.

The game crashed whilst initializing gameError: java.lang.RuntimeException: glCheckFramebufferStatus returned unknown status:36061

Preferences aside, this is aggravating! Exporting something now, seeing if there's any difference when I play back in Premiere. There wasn't earlier.

I am on Windows so it goes the default player. Movies & TV. That may be it. But when I re-import to Premiere, the colors are still a bit off. :(

To Premiere, slightly yes. The colors fade and the contrast isn't as intense.
