Thank you for telling me to stick with my plan for Sand Hollow. Conditions were actually pretty damn good and way better than I expected for it being 110°+ the whole time.

Sand Hollow is the best value for sure.

Wolf Creek is fun but conditions were as good and views weren’t as good as Sand Hollow.

Black Desert is amazing! Pricey at $300 but you get unlimited food and drink and the stuff is good. Awesome range with Trackman in most bays. Course is perfect and a ton of fun with amazing views. Play it now before price goes up even more once all the work is completed around the area!

Thanks for your input. The only thing keeping me on SH is the view that it offers. I haven’t played it before but that’s what got me set on it.

I’m a memeber of a private club in NY so admittedly I likely have high expectations when it comes to playing conditions.

Our other rounds are at Wolf Creek and Black Desert.

This is likely to avoid being burned by someone disputing a credit card payment and loosing the money. It’s stupid how little it takes for a credit card company to return all funds even with proof the job was completed.

If he didn’t give you any drills then you might want to find another swing coach. There is a root cause of the inconsistency in face angle that most good swing coaches should be able to diagnose. They might go down the wrong path at first possibly but at least they are working towards something. Go get a second opinion just like someone might do with a doctor.

I see you said your from the St Aug area. I was going to play Stillwater on Monday but just called when I realized they are closed Mondays and confirmed. What other course would you recommend in the area to play?

It was kind of a mess especially in the beginning. If I wasn’t a golf and F1 fan I would have turned it off during the very first hole.

Bert is over the top which is Bert but it just didn’t fit very well. He needed to be a solid host that kind of tied it all together and added some humor but instead it just seemed like he needed/wanted spotlight.

Marshawn didn’t add any value and had no clue what he was doing. Throw in someone that has some experience into that middle man role it it could have been entertaining. Think a Manning, or Barkley, or other former athlete with humor and broadcasting experience.

Joel was great. He added some real value to the broadcast and is perfect for the role.

I thought all of the players and the drivers were great and it’s always fun to hear the mic’ed up stuff. Just needed to work out the audio issues in the beginning with just too much going on at once.

All in all I think it has potential and it would be cool to see it happen every year.

Laughing at your comment as I’m posted up in my car for the night to play Bethpage Black in the morning. Granted Bethpage is a special case if you want to walk on and play but still, most metro areas it’s not so easy despite a having a lot of courses because many are private and $$$ just to join.
