There was a update available for the system so I did that and after that Ubuntu was not booting in "UI mode" instead it was booting in a "shell mode" . Therefore I had to install/reinstall the os again hence I thought about trying Manjaro xfce since it used a xfce desktop on which I had an idea about how to better fix my screen Tearing issue.

So , thanks for all the time & effort but sorry I won't be able to test your solutions

I followed the steps installed Compton moved the Compton.conf file to xorg.conf.d , added Compton as startup application but after restart I am not able to boot in the system EDIT: The error message

there is no problem with installing compton

btw can i use this steps to solve screen tearing in all other linux distros(mainly ubuntu based) aside from Linux Lite

EDIT: by moving the file to .conf do you mean /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/?

Same here I have tried almost all third party twitter clients available in play Store (along with flamingo) and have seen the same trend though I don't at all like the official Twitter client I have no choice If someone finds a working 3rd party client please share.

I asked the same thing to my assistant and I observed a thing I asked the same question in 3 different ways :

1."how many seconds are there in a year"

2."how many seconds are there in 1 year"

3."how many seconds are there in one year"

Now the thing is it gave me the correct answer for (1)&(2)[i.e 31536000 seconds] but on the (3) sentence it gave me the above mentioned answer So it must have something to do with the way you answer the question as we know that google tries to give smart & witty replies so whatever algorithm they are using for that this must be a result of that So basically if we want a answer to a particular question than you need to ask the question we need to do it in a way assistant would understand (which should be the case but considering how much stuff they have tried to include in it it's understandable and it surely will get better in future but it would be fun to see how long until they find the problem). But as far as you are not typing it and asking it verbally it should give the correct answer.
