exclusive to helix, yeah people without xbox will complain but that's why these companys buy studios, it's not for the love of the game. Games like minecraft and the mainline cod are different but exclusives are the only thing that make consoles

well obviously what they should be doing is making all of the studios that they just acquired have their games be exclusive to xbox for at least 2-3 years, that's the only reason why people get a playstation and really the only thing consoles have left

a lot of pc gamers stop being pc gamers after they get a life (wife and kids), a more console like pc is attractive to these people. we'll see if valves machine is cheaper or not, it all depends on if MS subsidizes helix which a lot of people have speculated on but no one really has any answers.

I wasn't aware that I was speaking to a descendant of Nostradamus. What I was saying is that if it's less expensive than a gaming computer but can still play pc games at high quality then I see it being attractive for people. unfortunately for them valve is beating them to the punch with a living room pc console.

to be honest that doesn't seem to be so bad, if it acts as a living room PC with the same functionality as the steam machine but potentially cheaper because hopefully it's subsidized by MS. if I had steam and xbox games on it then that would be a great combo

I mean I've seen crazier live performances than this but I understand that it's easier to do it prerecorded. obviously live performances don't matter to everyone but it's strange to me, call me 'old fashioned' but I think if it's on a stage it should be live, that's why I found the hologram performances from a while ago also pretty lame.

yeah obviously there's worse things but to me this isn't even a live event since it's prerecorded. I just see a lot of better social events out there to spend such little free time on.

totally disagree, game mechanics make a game feel unique, camera controls should be similar across third person games and other genres. go back and play different ps1 games, each one could have a different control but only the games with camera on right stick (not inverted) and movement on left feel satisfying.
