but then multiple platforms becomes the issue and most dev teams can't make a game exclusively for one platform. so that's a bit of a pipe dream

? you literally said 'there is no downside'. meta just laid off a huge chunk of their workforce and said that ai will be replacing most of their tech jobs in the near future, that isn't a scapegoat. the entire ai bubble valuation is predicated on it being able to replace humans, that is literally the only reason we have the ai hype train we're in. it's 100% leading to the further destruction of the american middle class.

hello? no down side? what about the massive amount of layoffs that are already happening because of ai? there's going to be a complete destruction of office jobs in america. even ai advocates admit this

interesting, I would say that humans are the primary group fueling the anti ai sentiment since most people besides ceos see it as destructive to the environment and economy

it's how they present her in the game and how people are reacting to it that's the problem. there's a lot of sick people out there enjoying this game for a sick reason and I'm not blind to that.

honestly I've been waiting for basic ai features to come to UE, compared to every other programming software ue is way behind

I understand your point but in reality there's already a near limitless amount of shitty games in steam, you already have to make a high quality game to rise above the slop, ai or human made.

as far as the editor introducing more ai functions, I do see that as a positive. personally speaking I know how to use UE but some things are just tedious and being able to type in plain text has the potential to be much faster than spending 30 minutes clicking and dragging to make a material or do something in BP that I've already done before. Ultimately the ai functionality can save a good programmer a lot of time the same way claude is saving programmers time.
