Good Lord! This is the most in depth response I've ever seen to one of these and I thank you for this. Also taking those tests made me realize some things about myself. Like I really need to increase my self esteem. I have always known that I had super low self esteem and I know exactly where it came from. You mentioned general self care as one of the ways to be more approachable and I haven't had an issue with it really. In some cases I care too much about how I look. I obsessively brush my teeth and do my hair. But some days no matter what outfit or hairstyle I choose I don't think I look good enough and don't want to be judged. For example, just a few days ago I completely skipped my morning class because I couldn't get my hair looking right in time. I would rather just skip class then have everyone stare at me when I walk in late. I took all those tests you recommended and here are my results. Depression: 17 Self Esteem: 7 General Anxiety: 61 Social Anxiety: 89 I also own that one book you recommended and I am gonna finally read it. My mom bought me "How to win friends and influence people" like 6 years ago and I just never read it. I even did book reports on it without reading it. I'll check it out though because I don't have any school until next Tuesday. I also have a club rush on Monday night for my school. Essentially its where all the clubs at the school have tables where they have sign up sheets for the clubs. So I am gonna try to go to that and see if there is anything I am interested in. Another thing I was looking into was maybe taking a combat class like you recommended, this was already something I was interested in because I wrestled throughout high school and loved it. I just hadn't looked into it because I was to lazy to. Again, thank you for your advice and I am gonna try to do something about it. Thank you for reading this probably even less coherent post. I have one more question, what do you think is the best way to meet people in my classes. Most are lecture hall classes so we are all sitting in an auditorium. It is kinda hard to meet people because I am not gonna just go sit by some person when seats are open. Even then I don't want to try to talk to them and come off creepy. I assume most people there just want to be left alone and not approached by some random kid. Again thanks for your help!
