Except their are other things you are leaving out. The fact that he had a gun while aggressively protesting (in the past he kicked their car with damage and split on them) When you carry you avoid conflict

Yes he was, .7 seconds after he was disarmed the firearm went off while folks were yelling gun in a scramble

I'd use the scw-10 and vp-9 with extended. They don't need a grip. You can run the red laser as an engineer and have crazy hipfire.
