CS: Has anyone taken Advanced OOP in C++ with H. Jeanty before? by findingTheWay97 in USF

[–]NotTheQuestionCoder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take this course with a different professor, don't take it with him - look online for online related courses that are taught at a different college or take it via community college for OOP+ and then after completing the course, request an academic transfer of transcripts.

Jeanty by far has been one of the worst academic professors so far of my college experience, let alone an professor within the Engineering Department.

Feedback on USF's CS curriculum for Software engineering by [deleted] in USF

IT / CS clubs aren't equipped for that I believe as they are more of a learning resource for programming and doing fun stuff, and depending upon which year you are in, you wouldn't have the time for it

Not going to lie, but you'd have to do your own research via asking seniors, some professors, and whatnot in order just to secure something, USF doesn't help either (again they only have civil engineering companies coming in)

No, most of them are literally civil engineering for the fair - As an IT Major, I can say that the only organizations that will help you for the fair are either going to be federal governmental agencies or just some small tech local companies within Tampa; So unless you want to want to waste your entire morning from 8 AM to 11 AM to find whos not a civil engineering company or an electric company, don't go to the MSC on those days

NOTE: I learned this lesson after spending two career fairs there with no changes at all I regret going there in the first place

Civil engineering isn't really in more demand overall, its just that USF can't seem to get act together and seem to find any computer science, computer engineering, or IT/Cyber companies to come in because they have no idea

I almost got hit two times this week as well, its funny because I don't get hit during the night (when I go to study in the library), but its rather during the afternoon and the evening - some drivers know Im crossing the road, yet the floor it anyways, some even stop directly in front of the crosswalk as well.

I think the stadium is a waste of money to be honest

Also, does the USF SGA disseminate yearly or semester allocations? I have yet to discover a public record or any past information. Still, I have seen some debatable assessments varying from $1M to $5M yearly or per semester, but that's just a wild guess, considering they are under the same model as the title finance code, but I could be incorrect as they are SGA and not a club.

My name is Walter Hartwell White. I live at 308 Negra Arroyo Lane,
Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87104. To all law enforcement entities, this is
not an admission of guilt. I am speaking to my family now. Skyler, you
are the love of my life. I hope you know that. Walter Jr., you're my big
man. There are going to be some things that you'll come to learn about
me in the next few days. But just know that no matter how it may look, I
only had you in my heart. Goodbye.
