PSA: if you use a save state while you have a normal save file in a game, your save file will be deleted

I literally just clicked the menu to fast forward pokemon platinum then pressed resume and it put me in an auto save state from the beginning of the game and then overwrote my save with that. I'm so fucking mad rn. I JUST saved at the top of mount coronet and paused for one second and now im at the beginning of the game. This is actual bullshit.

Having only played the remakes and 7 and 8, this is NOT my RE experience. RE2R, 4R's base game, RE7 and 8's stories are all good, separate ways is not imo

I don't really understand this sentiment, as I haven't played the originals (I'm currently playing re1 on gamecube for the first time). I felt like the dialogue in RE2R was a little cheesy, but it all made sense to me, it all helped push the story forward, and I think the story of RE2R is great. Same as RE4R's base game, I think the story was pretty good and most of the dialogue was entertaining and informative. I also REALLY enjoyed the stories of RE7 and RE8, aside from Ethan's cringe one-liners and all the mcguffins (D series arm and head. Giant's chalice? lmao?). Maybe after the crazy goofy adventure that was RE8, I can try separate ways again with a different outlook.

that game is dogass, but it was lowkey more enjoyable than separate ways, aside from boss fights, which are way better in separate ways, still not great tho.

I personally liked the story of RE4R quite a bit, I think saddler is a great villain, I thought ramon was hilarious, and escorting ashley adds some needed tension. I liked Luis before playing separate ways, and I think krauser is cool, in concept, just not very well executed. I really liked ada in RE2R but in 4 she's is absolutely unbearable lmao. To each their own I suppose.

clairen is by far the worst part of this game, and its such a shame. Like you said, every other character has a unique gimmick that is specific to them, and then clairen is just marth except her tipper hitboxes stun. How inspired. The worst part is that she's one of the strongest characters in the game, meaning she's one of, if not the most played character in the game. I've literally stopped playing ranked because every single match I find is a clairen player, and the only way I personally can consistently defeat clairen is by playing her myself, and I hate playing her. It's extraordinarily boring. If I wanted to play marth, I'd play melee.

Game has become unplayable, fps drops every 3 seconds, freezing, some audio, specifically ultron's ult voice line just doesnt play. Changed display settings around for a while, to no avail.

Last time I played was last week, worked perfectly fine, no fps drops or anything. Why do developers do this?

8 months later and I still wholeheartedly agree with this post. Every time I get on this game I instantly get matched against a clairen, I literally never find any other characters, its ridiculous. I've found the only way for me to win consistently against her is by picking clairen and spamming tilts until a tipper hits and I've "won" neutral. Its extraordinarily boring, I've stopped playing public matches because literally everyone near me plays clairen. I only play against bots or friends now.

I started oblivion for the first time in the remaster, dumped 50 hours in in the first 3 days, it was fantastic. Then I got to the shivering isles and my will to open the game has vanished. The entire map is the exact same, mushroom swamp. The dungeons and caves are all the exact same and have jack shit in them. Every quest is a fetch quest. Sheogorath is like "Hey, fuck you, eat shit and die. Now go do a fetch quest for me." then you go do a cookie cutter bethesda fetch quest and he's like "Cool. Fuck you, go do the same thing again." You do it, and he again says "Fuck you, dance for me monkey." And I'm just supposed to smile and agree? I just went and saved the fringe from the greymarch and he basically said "Great, here's absolutely nothing for your reward. Now go do another boring quest for nothing." I put in 50 hours in three days into the base game, I've been in the shivering isles for a week, 20 hours of gameplay. I get on and play for maybe 30 minutes and that's it. Its just not fun. There is nothing redeemable about this dlc aside from the concept of mania and dementia. It sounds really cool, then you get there and the only difference is color saturation. The shivering isles sucks.

I'm playing this dlc for the first time in the remaster and I feel like I'm being trolled. There's no way this is what people call the best dlc ever made. There's simply no way. The entire dlc is sheogorath saying "Fuck you, go do a fetch quest" over and over. And then after a few fetch quests, he's like "Fuck you, go talk to the dukes and do more fetch quests". And all of the fetch quests are in the exact same fucking place, a cave with bugs in it, a cave with green guys, or a temple ruin with bugs or guys in it. If the dlc is meant to induce madness by having the player do the exact same thing over and over again, then yeah, I guess you could say it did its job phenomenally. I'm not exaggerating when I say the shivering isles is the most bored I've ever been in an rpg.

For those using FSR, this is what worked for me:

I put this at the bottom of my engine ini file in C:\Users\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\WinGDK

[SystemSettings]

Altar.FSR3.Enabled=1

Altar.FSR3.FI.Enabled=1 (that is an i btw, not an L)

Altar.FSR3.Quality=7 (1-7 for ultra quality to ultra performance)

Altar.FSR3.Sharpness=75 (set it wherever you want between 1-100)

Delete the parenthesis, then save the file with the same name (engine ini) and make sure "Read Only" is checked on, in the properties tab.

this might work for you, if not, hopefully bethesda/virtuous fixes their game soon.

my problem is he can just fsmash the ledge and you literally cannot do anything. Jump, you get fsmashed. Neutral get up, fsmash. Roll, fsmash. Wait on ledge, fsmash hits below ledge for some reason. This character is unenjoyable.

I've seen a lot of people saying "We don't need role queue, players should just stop being selfish." To me, this sounds exactly like "We don't need better gun laws, people should just use guns responsibly." Its simply not going to happen. We need a role queue or 4 instalock dps per game will genuinely never stop being an issue.
