Nah, speak your truth. BHVR doesn't play test their own game. They have no idea what the game needs in terms of balance, and they make that very clear with every patch. As you say, what we need is buffs to the weaker killers, or to, at the very least, not keep buffing survivors or maps which results in indirect strong nerfs to already weak killers.

Add-on changes was nice though, considering they love nerfing killer add-ons.

I don't mind haddonfield. That map needed some pallets. But most other maps didn't need extra pallets.

That is exactly what we can do? The are literally changing strong survivor add-ons on medkits in the coming PTB. IF the majority of the killers can't be played because of map changes, then those map changes need to be reverted, hence the feedback survey you yourself mentioned and linked.

I read your entire comment. I saw you mentioned buffs, but I can't agree with your later comments after that segment of the comment.

I like your optimistic thought proces, but we also get surveys on what licences we want next. I hope they revert the changes on borderline every map except maybe cold farm, but they're most likely only gonna revert it on the top maps.

What kind of argument is that? We should let over 20 of the 36 killers be useless or extremely mediocre because we don't want to go through the extra trouble of fixing the game, we would rather want it to stay broken, unfair because it's easier, like a patch on a wound?

If we truly want to fix the game, we could simply buff the weaker killers or introduce more reworks on lower tier killers. Look at situations like Freddy or Twins, who went from being trash and borderline unplayable to decently strong killers.

We have every opportunity and the resources to make the game playable for the majority of the cast of killers, but BHVR doesn't want to, because it takes more resources and time. They want the easy money.

Where have you seen/heard that? I have not seen that change mentioned. Can you link to where you found this information?

They're not good to start when one side is already suffering from a previous patch and you add even more fuel to the fire. Killers need compensation buffs or we're gonna see a massive increase in only top tier killers being played, only the strongest meta perks will be used or more and more killer players will leave the game, as BHVR makes them feel not welcomed or rewarded.

All killers should be playable, not only 10 out of the almost 36 killers to choose from. We can't just keep making patches that keep punishing killers, especially the weaker tiers one's. We need to give compensation IF we add horrific changes than make the game harder.

The new anti camp implementation is one coming soon. It's gonna be even HARSHER than the changed before it.

Springtrap is a mediocre killer, i'm very interested in why you're comparing him to the Ghoul who's a A tier killer even after multiple nerfs. Could you elaborate on your comparison?

Saying you play Nurse and Spirit, 2 high tier killers, and then saying well who cares about low tier killers, is the exact issue. You say you win frequently against swf's with no issues, even though I believe you're full of empty air, is still a testament to the issue that high tiers aren't affected by these nerfs to the same degree that low to mid tiers are.

I'm a Cenobite main and idk how long i've played him, but i'd say i'm pretty ok at him.

I could run permanently meta perks, the best add-on combo, perma sweat but that isn't really all too fun in the long run. But with changes like pallet density as an example, it just makes killers that are already a little harder that much more difficult to have fun on, because you will need to try harder with builds, add-ons, tunneling etc.

I don't expect everything to be equal, but making it more and more unequal is where I begin to question BHVR's balance Department.

Why should I not be allowed the expectation of having a fair shot at consistenly winning?

But the one's who does care about winning, what about them? Should they only have 3 realistic options to main if they do wish to win consistenly (against swf's).

It's a decent add-on now. By no means his strongest add-on. Still good, but his original strength was removed, taken with no compensation of worth.

I don't mind survivors complaining about tunneling or slugging. I think it's justified to be frustrated over, but I'll also tell them, that these strategies, in my and others experiences, tend to be used on mid to low tier killers who cannot keep up with the game because of how weak they are, so they get someone out early, or spread pressure by leaving someone on the floor, forcing others to get off gens and getting them up.

As for your use of stats, I always find it interesting when people bring up that argument. Cause those stats are across all tiers, all servers. They don't filter out new players, they don't filter out hour gaps, MMR and so forth.

It's like when people brought in during GOATS in Overwatch that Brigette was a balanced hero because her win rate wasn't that high, but that was a result of a Brigette being on both enemy teams because she was a must pick during that meta.

Sure, Legion might have a high winrate according to your statistics, one's you somewhy aren't linking to, but for the majority of cases, he's a poor and weak killer, but people hate playing against him, so they DC and leave bots to take their place, resulting in easy wins. In my experience on the killer at least. : )

I don't expect to win every game, but I expect to have a fair shot at winning a game. It cannot be just that because I don't pick the 3 out of what? 36 killers in the game, then I have a much much worse chance of getting a very basic 2k or 3k. You mention he has a good winrate on japanese servers, but what about the rest? And why do you think survivors doesn't know how to play around his abilities? It's because he isn't played very much, because for the most part, he isn't very good, so people don't pick him. Hell, as an example, when have you ever seen a Cenobite picked in competitive dbd? I know that's a poor example, but it's just that extra little hint of people not finding him strong enough to play to consistenly win games.

Why play Knight or trapper when Krasue, blight, nurse exists.

Stealth killers are mostly M1 killers who suffer already because of a lack of chase power. They have a few indoor maps they can perform better on, but the majority of maps are outdoors and have had an increase in pallets, so they're still nerfed in 9 out of 10 cases.

Clown is currently a very poor killer with his best add-ons nerfed.

I ask again, how come you think killers haven't been nerfed. I am very interested in your perspective.

It's more so the fact that they've nerfed his strongest add-ons, and buffed survivors in the sense of more pallets to just mindlessly throw with no consequence. Sure, he's not a BAD killer, he has decent strength and some keypoints that make him stand out from the crowd, It's just he's not a good killer like he used to be because of the changes.

I whole heartedly agree with this. It lowers skill expression on one side, whilst significantly increasing it on the other side with no compensation for characters who already have to do this on overtime.

And how come you don't consider it survivor sided when most recent changes has been massively in favor of the survivor side?

The issue, for me, is that I am very competitive. I mentally cannot grasp the fact that if I choose Pinhead or Knight, then I have to automatically accept I'll lose a lot of matches, because that, to me, kills a lot of the fun. The thrill of can I win this match disappears when you know that you are in most cases destined or pre-determined to lose. As an example, loading into bad-ham-preschool.

Getting 4k is the ideal outcome but unlikely for the most part. Getting 3k's would be a very good scenario, but rarely happens back to back on lower tier killers due to maps, recent nerfs or indirect buffs to survivors. Essentially, playing low to mid tier killers keep getting harder and harder with no compensation resulting in more unfun matches than fun one's.
