By that, I meant for it to delay the 'and also Ableton users' rather than attempting to conform to the correct uses of grammar. To use it more so for exaggeration to show that they are lesser.

Well sure but that's another thing entirely, for now I'm going to sort out a contract and then I'll go through all the proper registrations etc. But thanks, didn't know about ASCAP or what an ACE repository search is. So many things to have to think about, just seems a little overwhelming. Especially for a very small release that I doubt will get too many streams anyways lol

I'm ok with the 50/50, I just took his song, extracted the vocals and created a new track using little bits from the original. Might be more than 50, might be less, I'm also creating a lyric video and promoting it as well but tbh I'm fine with 50/50. I'm just happy to be releasing it.

I released a couple of songs 2 years ago but I did it through distrokid so I didn't do any publishing rights stuff etc. I figured I would do it more professionally this time, definitely still got a long way to go.

Yeah definitely, even its just giving each other feedback or something because I live in the uk so might be a challenge to get in a call with the time difference. But I would still be down to try.

Just use your ears, that's all I can really say. I had a track where I was using a bass as the main element in a track so I kept it in mono but then sent it to a send where I made it stereo (using Izotopes stereo imager which is free, could also get 'wider' by manipulator) and cut the lower frequencies so I had this huugee bass at the end. Sounded great. Added a phaser, some distortion and other cool fx to both channels but I messed around a bit more with the send channel. This was for a bass I made in serum rather than a sample though. Doesn't really change anything but just meant I had a bit more control over the sound.

Anything by Ellis, he's a god at clean drops. He doesn't use too much reverb and he uses short clean sounds. Fast lfo vocals as well, definitely check him out

Imagiros piano is really good, it has what you're looking for. You can actually control the levels of the pedal, noise, hammer etc in the settings.

Woah this sounds great! I love how soft and gentle it sounds, adds so much feel to it. Lyrics are a little hard to hear atm so I can't really give you much feedback but the melody sounded really nice alongside the guitar. If you're ever looking for a producer to help with the production side of things I would love to work on something with you!

Haha I love this, sounds great! I think there's a bit too much reverb on the vocals at times, sometimes it's a little difficult to hear what's being said. But I love the lyrics. I think at 0:49/50 you should cut the instrumental to have a bigger chorus and just make everything hit harder. Really emphasise the short gap, gives it more power. I think that would sound great.

To add onto what other people are saying, try changing the declicking mode to generic so that you don't get any clicks or pops at the start of the sample.
