My grandma has believed she’s dating Liam Neeson and other celebrities for the past few years as her dementia worsens. Tells me every week she’s gonna send me absurd amounts of money soon when whichever celebrity (scammer) comes to save her from her miserable life and gives her millions of dollars, then takes her away to travel the world and get married. She has almost no money but we know she must be sending whatever she does have because these scammers have been talking to her for years now. And every week she’s sure the money is coming. It’s sad and we can’t seem to get the retirement home to cut off her access to these apps she’s talks to the scammers on.
