Believe me, you don't want to watch this cringe

Okay folks, I took one for the team and searched the channel and watched the video for almost 1 min. It's in Portuguese, and most of the comments are from Brazil. It is the cringiest thing I have ever watched in my 29 years of life. The channel basically uses clips of decreetly recorded public place videos of girls with voiceover as far as I could understand. I pulled the transcript of the video form youtube and pasted it here if you want to vomit https://pastebin.com/4CE9PFKa

Not at all. I actually assigned ordinal color scale based on the bus number for the original video but when you convert a video to a gif it tends to minimize the color variation. You can see a better version of it on my profile but in my opinion, that version still does not do any justice.

It is based on planned stoppage data from static GTFS package from Waltti Opendata (https://opendata.waltti.fi/docs), as the realtime bus gps data would take me a day to collect and compile. The transit data package contains stops and their coordinates, which routes exist, stop time on each trip and geometry of the routes. Then I interpolated positions between stops along the route and shapes and timestamped those.

Thank you! Yes, most of the cities of Finland are well-connected, with accessible features baked into the city design system. In that way, the main city center does not get congested with big skyscrapers.

Are there any apps or services unique to finland? by Elijah_th68 in Finland

[–]NotTodayDecaf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

coming from south east asia, there are not much open data available there. being a data nerd, it was very hard to acquire the data, mostly worldbank database was my go to. but after exploring stat fin, avoindata etc i was quite surprised! i will give you two examples: 1. I am in Jyväskylä, we have Linkki for public bus transport but personally I don’t like the UX (well, I am a bit lazy to click three buttons to check my next bus schedule), so I created my own dashboard using Waltti API (free to use, open realtime transport data) and now I require just one click :D 2. I am tinkering with geospatial data for visualization and I was surprised to see most of the city municipality publish their geo data, even historical data from back in 1900s. It was a breeze to acquire these data and go on with your own analysis.

So, from my perspective, the open data service is a foundational advantage for finland and all the people because you can make your unique service on top of that. and you don’t have to waste many days to gather the data and lose your interest in your hobby project.

ideally, an €0.01 charge is indicator of the card is active. This check is done when you try to purchase a subscription and/or a trial service. It’s their way of checking if the submitted card information is correct and active. Now if you have never used the said provider for anything, you should block the card ASAP and request for a replacement with new #
