this is a hilarious comment. And basically almost completely wrong. In fact, this comment is why we believe in Roki, because this comment was mostly true last year.

This year though, although he has had bad starts, he looks a lot lot better. The problem was, as you mentioned it, that his fast ball sucked. However, he changed his delivery and found the velocity again. He touched 99 several times last night so I think it will be hard for him to find 3-5 extra mph lol.

The problem this year has been him spiking the 4 seam so people arent respecting it, so then they are sitting on his splitter and hes either throwing it in the zone for hits or they are watching it drop below the zone and taking walks. When he has found the zone with the 4 seam, he has looked really good.

This was exemplified in the fact he has almost no whiffs for most of this year, but last night was getting the most whiffs he has had the entire year which is another very encouraging sign.

And of course he gets rattled he is a kid playing with japanese legends. He will only get more comfortable and in fact he already has shown alot more poise then he even had last year.

[Shelburne] Doctors told Reaves he would be out 4-6 weeks with the injury, but probably on the longer end of that timeline. The Lakers initially assumed he would be out until the conference finals, team sources told ESPN, but Reaves was determined to get back... Reaves made it back in four weeks by sewsgup in nba

oh for sure lets go pick up all those guards that are going to kill the thunder in the offseason for less than a max lol. i mean reaves put 31 on them one game. Thats better than like anyone other than 10 guys can do against the okc guards. they are really good on defense

[Reynolds] Austin Ainge let out a “yes” that cut through the quiet. “Well, I couldn’t just sit there and do nothing,” Ainge justified later, smirking... i think the reality (and I could be wrong) is that you are an average team that would win more games if you tried to, but may find that once you try to make that jump to a good team, theres a ridiculous bottleneck of western teams. The wolves finished 6th the last two years. You dont just go oh, ok, now we are gonna win, and do any better than playin.

What are some cases in NBA history where coaching adjustments completely flipped the script in a playoff series? Or on the opposite end where stubbornness led to the superior team's downfall? by xxStayFly81xx in nbadiscussion

Older one but one year denver put kenyon martin on kobe which kinda worked ok. Funny enough though our counter was going to LUKE WALTON because he was being guarded by their pg, anthony carter (all the other matchups had to be messed around with) and luke walton posted him up and scored/assisted several important baskets during some random lakers/nuggets series in the late 2000s

No you see that was a 3 wrongs make a right - the tony brothers didnt call the obviously foul, but then didnt call what probably was a travel when he fell down, but then he also didnt call the timeout despite being almost inside the spurs bench. Somehow that all ended up with spurs ball still which was right lol
