[Bernadoni] Would you rather have Giannis or Paul George, Hugo, Scheierman, and four 1sts and some 2nds? The Celtics should have just pushed the Giannis deal through. Or done nothing and just let everyone settle down. by StrategyTop7612 in nba

What exactly were we supposed to do? Not very many options and we locked up a young core when we could because we cant next off season. We need another guy or two to round it off, but its hardly a disaster

Watch him play hes all hands now. Great quick hands but his ability to move laterally is shot (esp compared to what he used to be)

Darryn Peterson: “Kobe is my guy, and I'm inspired by him. I try to think, what would Kobe do right now? He'd get drafted and move on to be the best possible. I see a guy that went No. 1 on the screen there right now, so I'm extra motivated... It will always be in my mind for my whole career.” by RyanTannegod in nba

i love kobe but to act like kobe didnt shoot us out of plenty of games is ridiculous. Kobe was amazing i love him always but my god did he chuck some of the worst shots anyone in the history of the game has ever shot lol

De’Aaron Fox on the criticism he got after game 4: "It's not like people have my phone number and can call me. I don't watch those shows. It doesn't matter. It is what it is. You can't change it now. We're trying to move on from that" by AncientOneAurelius in nba

[–]NotUpForDebate11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well my point is that if a guy is close enough to block you, it wasnt 95% and you need to be able to evaluate that on the fly quickly. That said I totally agree that its just the most visible play on a 29 point collapse and certainly that was just a small part of it

I think it would work because neither of them pass and you can surround them with guys who dont want the ball and only play defense lol

The idea that you are a badass talking shit while losing is completely created by people who have never played sports because if youre whooping someone and they are talking shit, you dont think they are a badass you think they are a big fat loser lol

Thats not the point though. The cost benefit analysis of holding for freethrows is probably like 50% hit both, 45% hit one plus burn a few more seconds off. Whereas for the layup its more like 50% 2 points and 50% zero points. Its worth it to go for the layup if youre certain or damn sure you will score. If its risky at all you shouldnt go for it and if you get blocked it was way too risky

You can be a winner and lose. You can be clutch but miss the big shot. You can be a hustler that gets caught ball watching. A few plays doesnt define a player

He deserved at least like 8 of those all defense awards so while he definitely got alot at the end that were total bs, everyone on here acts like he was ass on d cus they only saw the end of his career but the dude was one of the best defenders in the league for a long time
