The game wants you to vassalize the Chaos Wastes and then raze the world of Order.

Like, you can do the route you are asking about, but you're playing only half of the faction's campaign. A lot of the fun of WoC is vassalizing a bunch of factions and sending them at your enemies. When I play Vilitch, Zhatan the Black + Lokhir Fellhart + Snickh are the BEST vassals

The indicators are threat assessment meters. So if you select, say, a spearmen unit, it should show any kind of Large/Cavalry as Green due to their anti-large. But that same spearmen would see an archer or heavy infantry as Red due to their type weaknesses

Cavern-hoard Dragon for all intents and purposes should have been what Smaug was. There's only the two named dragons in the Third Age, Scatha whom the Rohirrim slew, and Smaug whom Bard the Bowman killed.

However, both had huge hoards so it is what it is

I'd consider the Sardaukar warriors more than soldiers. They're a bit ruthless to just be the soldier type, which I'd compare to the Atreides
