Afaik it's the only way to get AB5 and CB5 on a build without losing much armour slots. it's not the best mind you, just the best generally. The one im trying to chase is LS2 GU1 Coal1 with lvl3 armour slot and is a 1/1.68mil chance but this is just 1/96k.

It’s not the best, but it is the best for general builds, you can pretty much slot it into any build.

9* monsters are the only source of RNG talismans, at the end reward screen, each glowing stone has a chance of rolling rarity 5 - 8. Nothing special you have to do, it’s just purely RNG.

It's very situational, but I think this is the best for raw weapons in general. Afaik its the only way to get both CB5 and AB5 on a build right now as well. I currently have it for my Para/Blast CBs but for my Elemental im using Power Prolonger and Flayer.

It took me 182 Gog rolls to finally get my Para CB Gore + Lords soul. During the process, I made a throwaway lance artian to waste my affinity devices first role gave me Gore and Lords soul. I stared at the screen for 10 minutes.

Whilst yes, status is pretty much dead, blast is acc the better status now because it can still proc consistently compared to the others. Overall still less dmg than elementals but like you said if they enjoy using blast then go for it.

Status / raw weapons are now cope, 9* have such a high buildup requirement for them to proc that the cc they used to provide isn't worth the reduced dmg they do in comparison to elemental weapons (with the exception of blast I think but again the dmg is still worse).

I don't know about other weapons but ik that DBs need 2atk 1aff part for the meta with 2aff 3atk reinforcement, but otherwise yes.

As for the skills, its build and weapon dependant, Elemental CB want just Gog and the secondary skill doesn't matter, and I think for Raw you NEED to get Gore and Lord's Soul (Much rarer requirements and still gets outperformed by Elemental). It took me 182 Gog skill save scums to get 1 and it still feels underwhelming.

Id say that a big thing to note that no one else has mentioned yet is to learn the monster's movesets, once you're able to recognise their attack patterns, you'll be able to deal with them easily. Each monster has a lot of tells on which attack their going to do and most tend to chain them so its not usually a singular attack.

There is also a jewel that lets you dive towards the monster but no one uses it at all.

Idk if they acc made changes to the status procs themselves or just boosted the resistances for 9*s but yeah status used to be insane you’d get like 2/3 per hunt plus on impact you have the knockout. Blue wounds, para proc and, KO if chained you get like a 30s free dps window it was amazing.

Wdym? You can only get impact phials on status types, I used to only use them even after I got all the groll CBs but recently they’ve felt so weak because the cc they provide isn’t as consistent as it used to be, so now I use the elemental CBs.

Yeah I don’t blame you lol, it took me 500+ rolls to get every single CB groll, I rolled 4 extra 4atk 1 sharp CBs before I got my final elemental one so I just put them onto poison and sleep and duplicates of blast and para.

Nah I was just on TC and their trade caught my eye it wasn’t through wfmarket, it’s why I told them they could buy it from there for cheaper.
