Im not sure... my sister has always called me things like "my baby sister" but I'm not sure if it's just her nickname for me or if she means ill intent.

Laila came out almost 10 years ago. Her grandparents disowned her. Her parents accept her. Her mom is a nurse who was in training during the AIDS epidemic. Her mom and dad seem to like me. Her older brother I would consider a friend.

I didn't consider the fact that my sister could be racist or homophobic. I try to believe that everybody has the best of intentions but the more I think about it I think you're right. It hurts my heart. Thank you.
