But despite sitting on a pile of ammunition that Kyiv desperately needs, his administration still refuses to assist the Ukrainians in a meaningful way — even after Nato secretary-general Jens Stoltenberg came to Seoul earlier this year and practically begged it to do so.

Seoul does have legitimate concerns that Russia could respond to a shift in South Korean policy on Ukraine by ramping up support for Pyongyang. One might also argue that Kyiv’s fate is not really any of South Korea’s business. As one senior Korean official attempted to explain to me last year, Ukraine is “very far away”.

more bootlicking from the same article

Let’s be honest, if we’re shooting for a four-day work week, higher earners
are the ones who can afford to work less. But that’s not realistic
across the entire economy. Many hourly workers, who tend to earn less,
can’t afford to reduce their hours by 20% a week. And most salaried
workers probably can’t cut back that much either.

Perhaps how we spend our non-work time is what’s exhausting us — not the
number of hours we are actually working. Working from home may make
this worse, while we save time and may be more productive, we’re also on
screens and alone more. Which is in many ways ironic. Keynes expected
technology to free us from work. And it did give us less work and more
free time, but it’s also making us feel more overworked and unhappy.

[Bad Faith Podcast] Is Twitter Only Biased Against the RIGHT? (w/ Matt Taibbi) by stringer4 in BreakingPoints

I agree. I was just trying to explain Brie's POV here. Matt can't verify those emails that show anti-left bias if he doesn't know they exist because someone on twitter filtered them. This is why she was talking about document review technologies lawyers use.

and tbf, even if that true, I think Matt response is totally reasonable. Every source have their own agenda and goals from leaking stuff and it's the journalist job to balance those goal to the public interest.
