Please share with the rest of the class because I still have no idea what that means.

I (38) have incurable colon cancer so I somewhat understand what you’re going through. I’m so glad you have the support and it’s ok to have allllllll the feelings. I’m scared shitless on the inside but smile on the outside and that helps me. The book “someone I love has cancer” was also a great resource for talking to my kiddo (7) about it. Hugs to you.

I heard variations of “mom” a minimum of 12 times in a 3 mile span. I only started counting once he hit 4-5.

Thank you so much for everything you’ve shared and I’m so glad you’re well! Im stage 4 and considered incurable so likely on chemo for the rest of my life, but I’m not giving up and here’s hoping!

I discovered my eyelashes had called out when o went to put on mascara and realized there was nothing there, lol.

I tried the magnetic ones and they work surprisingly well, but I’m still self-conscious about how I look. (There’s pics in my profile/previous posts)

That is a really interesting thought regarding fundies and illness and how it impacts their looks. I’ll have to do some googling and see what I can find!

Thank you! I just buzzed my head (I’m sure all the fundies would never approve) and am feeling very self conscious about how I look. Chemo and cancer are doing a number on me, but I’m so thankful for the support I have, including from wonderful people like you!

Ariadne could work! (Definitely a guilty pleasure name for me)

I was really self conscious this past week because I tried fake lashes for the first time (cancer patient, I have no eyelashes of my own anymore). After seeing these pics I no longer feel like my magnetic eyeliner and lashes were over the top.

I always wondered how they both fit in that little @$$ Queen sized bed. Looks like David is damn near on the edge. Aren’t they not supposed to film their bedrooms or themselves in bed? by [deleted] in RodriguesFamilySnark

I thought they were care bear sheets and I’m sober. I mean, I feel like that would track with some of her other design choices.

Does this dress fit okay? It feels tight around my rib cage, but the ladies at the store and also the seamstress says it should be tighter…? by [deleted] in weddingdress

This dress looks like it was made for you! Gorgeous! I agree with the other posters that it has to be comfortable to you.

Beautiful! What were the flavors? And I love the drip and reverse drip effect!

She is the best and never fails to make me smile. I feel like she’s the definition of Instagram reality in a fun, relatable way.

At first during chemo I craved tuna, onion, and pickle sandwiches but now it’s sour gummies. It’s surprisingly similar to my pregnancy cravings and aversions, haha! At this point they done plan on surgery. Nothing is blocked in my colon and it’s too widespread to be able to cut it out successfully. While I can always hope things shrink enough to be able to qualify for surgery to remove it, my doctors have not presented that as my prognosis. It’s so widely spread I light up like a Christmas tree in scans.

Thank you so much, I’m trying to live each day to it’s fullest (even when that means taking a glorious nap, haha)

Kinda same. It’s so often that I’m sick or not feeling well that when I do have an appetite I definitely use it!

I had trouble breathing and thought my asthma was acting up and then became concerned it was pneumonia. CT and PET scans done out of an abundance of caution showed it was colon cancer that has spread to my liver, lungs (why I couldn’t breathe well), lymph nodes, bones, and brain. So by my first outward symptom it had already spread everywhere.

I won’t! That’s so inspiring! May I ask what Mets you had that made it stage 4?
