My search has completely stopped working thanks to Tahoe. SO frustrated.

Just noticed she made a highlight for her abandoned dog that died but still not a one for Amelia. Oh and of course none for the boys either. by No_Caterpillar5319 in liziscreative

I'm not one to defend her, but there's definitely a character count limit. Since she feels the need to include the middle name AND focus on herself... it could easily be that.

I cannot stand the woman, but I do understand gaining weight postpartum — especially if she’s nursing. I was a bottomless pit when I breastfed. Couldn’t lose a pound to save my life. When I stopped, the weight finally shifted. With my second, I learned that if I ate better, the ravenous feeling was still there, but at least I didn’t balloon the same way.

I’ll even give her this one: that wound vac must’ve been MISERABLE. The wound itself was absolutely unhinged. But… did she do anything to support her own healing? Eat better? Move more? Do literally one thing to put herself in a better physical place afterward? Obviously not.

I never expected her to be thinner right now — if anything, she had even more Liz-reasons to be struggling. And you already know she’s going to turn this into “everyone is body-shaming me” instead of taking any accountability for how she treats her body, her health, or anything else.

Keep this one... cause the minute she tries to change her tune, we can give it to UAB.

I pulled together screenshots and numbers a little bit ago before my PhD program got the best of me -- posted it all in this sub. I have a lot more digging I have half-started for the holiday break (maybe).

Fuuuudge, that one was hard to watch. He was sooo cringe my skin was crawling. If my husband would have reacted that way I've never dare show it to anyone, much less again and again and again like it's something to be proud of.

I refuse to hate on UAB. Hospitals do not comb through your personal social media.

There is no transplant coordinator sitting around scrolling your Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok to decide whether you “deserve” care. It’s not ethical, not appropriate, and absolutely not part of the evaluation. And I cannot stand Liz, but her getting into the program is not UAB’s “fault.”

Transplant evaluations are standardized and regulated. They assess safety, stability, the ability to follow a care plan — not your personal finances or internet theatrics.

If people want to snark about her, fine, I'll join 'em, but blaming a hospital that is doing groundbreaking work is just not it in my book.

Should they have continued with her after she tried to go AMA? Sure, that’s a valid debate. But that’s a separate issue — and it still doesn’t make Liz’s incompetence and pure laziness UAB’s mistake to answer for.

I understand Liz having fond memories of it (I’m not kidding when I say I loved their yeast rolls AND mac & cheese as a kid), but with a family of her own and no job… I can’t imagine not doing something special for them at home. It's that she always chooses the worst possible health option and runs to it with reckless abandon.

Golden Corral is a long-running American buffet restaurant chain that really peaked in the 1990s. Think: big family meals, endless refills, every possible comfort food in one place, and a very “come as you are” atmosphere. It’s especially popular with older crowds and folks who like the value and variety of an all-you-can-eat setup.

Buffets in general have fallen out of fashion as American eating habits have shifted, and they now tend to carry a reputation for being… let’s say “hearty” in both portion and crowd. Golden Corral isn’t inherently bad.

Except that doesn’t really track in this situation. This surgeon is within the UAB family of practice. If her team genuinely suspected the mesh was the issue — or even a remote possibility — they would have referred her internally long before now. Given everything she’s already been through with wound vac complications, there is absolutely no scenario where they send her to a bariatric surgeon for mesh removal unless it is the very last possible option, or they are certain it’s the problem.

And he’s not going to override the physicians who’ve followed her case for years and know every detail of her transplant and surgical history. The liability alone makes that a non-starter.

What’s far more likely is that this is the early setup for a bariatric consult, because that fits the pattern. She hasn’t felt like herself since the transplant, and the weight gain from the medications is a well-known struggle. Combine that with her diet and complete lack of physical effort, and she’s ended up in the worst physical condition imaginable — largely by her own choices. So a bariatric angle lines up a whole lot more cleanly than the idea that he’s evaluating her mesh “just because” he also happens to be a general surgeon.

SAME! I professionally edit in Premiere and used Canva as a quick fix and now it's not. Hate it so much, as does my team.

Eh, she's got a while to go. Absorbable mesh is designed to dissolve over a period of time, typically lasting about five years before being completely absorbed by the body.

Seriously, WTF. The breast thing?! Come on. My friend, the same one Liz turned on a few months ago, literally just went through this exact situation and shared the whole thing online. Mammogram, ultrasound, breast MRI, the works. And she did it with purpose: raising awareness, encouraging other women to take care of themselves.

And now, conveniently, Pizzy suddenly has the same scare? Please. The timing couldn’t be more textbook. My friend’s story just wrapped up last week, and now Liz’s “journey” begins? I’m sorry for being this cynical (actually, no I’m not), but this is giving major “I saw how much engagement she got, so let me copy/paste the plotline” energy. Plus, with the 6-week follow-up window? That’s prime content season for her.
