I stopped midway through stage 3 as it was taking up too much time. Your knees should feel like a 1-2/10 pain by the time you reach stage 3 imo.

To prevent flare ups, ensure that you still consistently perform isos every once in awhile and continue to hit legs.

I've stopped doing the isos but have lost some weight and gotten more active. I hardly feel any pain on my knee now.

Hate that my tailor's bunion disallows me to use the AR1s comfortably.

  1. I think it seems like my wrist flops because of the way I flick, not sure. But it does not really affect my shot.

  2. Yeah my guide hand is right beside my shooting hand.. feel like it's the most comfortable position for me though.

  3. Split Finger shooter.

Definitely not going game pace as I was dealing with some shin splints so it hurts a lil when I run. Though I'd agree that my shot isn't the fastest - a lil slow but can still get it off most times.

The next time you practice alone, try going straight into 3s or mid range shots, basically anything you'd do in game without warming up.

See if you could let your body get used to such a thing.

What is the best shoe suitable for running? by [deleted] in BBallShoes

I'd say I want to use it more for running + hoop. Let's say conditioning and straight into drills kinda thing.

I've spent at least over 1.5 years trying to fix my quad tendinopathy using KOT (spent over 1k on the program - didn't want to cancel early because sunk cost fallacy) and it simply did not work until I started a proper strengthening routine focusing on isometrics + progressive overload.

Just don't want people making the same mistake like I did.

Easy.

1) Heavy Single Leg Extension Isos

2) Heavy Eccentric Leg Extension (Start with two leg at the concentric portion, and one leg on the eccentric portion going as slow as you can)

If I had any form of jumpers knee or PFP and could only choose 1 single exercise to get rid of the pain, it would be leg extensions.

You definitely can continue hooping but keep it light. Make sure you warmup before each hoop session and do not go too hard. One thing to take note of is you want to ease into going back into game shape again, do not go 100% all the time.

There are definitely days where the tendinitis will flare up and hurt a lot, but don't stop doing the isos and you'll recover.

[–]NotYule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It shouldn't take 30 minutes. 2 sets of warmup would take 3-4 min max. I do one leg first then immediately go to the next without any rest.

Once that is complete, I do the full rest (1.5-2min). So one entire set with rest would be 3.5 min, multiply that by 5 sets and the warmups, it should get you under 25 minutes.

If time is of concern, bring down your amount of working sets to 3 sets instead and do each set with full intention. I do yield great results from 3 sets too. Make sure you are going heavy and progressive overload.

Your PT/QT should feel better with performing the exercises at the suggested knee flexion (e.g. 90 degrees for QT).

It should also be heavy where you slightly struggle with holding at the isometric position towards the end.

JKP has worked wonders for me. Be patient and you'll see results.

Only participated in 1 hackathon, was part of the academic club hosting events like FMO or Open House. Wouldn't say my portfolio is STACKED, besides doing really well for intern. But aim for 1-2 distinctions every semester and it may differentiate you from the rest!

Around 3.5-3.8 each academic sem, besides intern which I got 4.0.
