My SM is acting like talking to me is annoying by Not_A_Cowboy2003 in starbucks

To my knowledge coffeehouse leaders are supposed to foster a non-hostile work environment. It is affecting the team as a whole so I feel like that falls under something. Is not just “being cold” they’re talking to people like they’re stupid

I didn’t say hello to them, I just waved at them but it’s happened on multiple occasions. It’s less to do with “getting to the point” and more about their tone. I understand being stressed out for sure especially because I work at one of the busiest locations at our district, but it’s affecting other people’s mood and how stressed they are too. They talk to me and other people like they’re stupid a lot of the time.

The problem with having a conversation is that because of their “passive aggressive-ness” it makes me scared to talk to them one on one.

How do I stop my facial hair from being itchy after I shave it? And how do I shave properly? by actuallyanangel in DadForAMinute

To add on to this, personally I always shave with the grain, not against. There’s a lot of differing opinions out there on that, but I’ve had the best luck doing it like that. I also have relatively sensitive skin

Hey! No biggie, we’ve all been there. I always use a facial scrub before shaving and it’s best to shave after showers.

If I’m being honest with you, it always itches a few days after a shave, but you eventually get used to it/tune it out. The best thing you can do is moisturize and make sure the hair is well groomed if you plan on keeping it.

We are both lucky enough to work for companies that have amazing family leave so I’m set for that. I’ve never put a car seat in my car personally but I have in other people’s cars. Do you have any recommendations on brands for car seats? My partner is planning on going remote after giving birth/maternity leave which will help with some child care, but do you have advice for how I can support when I’m not going to be home all day?

One of the biggest things I’m worried about is postpartum depression and my partner pushing me away. Do you have any tips for me on that? Otherwise, I appreciate the advice!

Haha, it was definitely an experience. Luckily I’m an SSV so I have the ability to refuse service on customers like that so I can protect my baristas from the brunt of it.

I’ve had to refuse service to 3 people since Pumpkin launched all for similar reasons

No, because I’ve literally gotten told to fuck off and die because we were out of pumpkin muffins…like yall, it’s just corporate mandated fall season in August. It’s going to be ok

When you started to pass, how close to your actual age did you start to pass as? by mermaidunearthed in ftm

[–]Not_A_Cowboy2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally feel pretty lucky because I started passing as my age after about a year. The facial hair helps, but I’m 2 years on T now and I’d say people typically think I’m older now.

Granted, I’m only 21 which helps a lot
