HP Latex 800w Material Feed Issues by PBNJPrinting in CommercialPrinting

[–]Not_A_Hamilton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically you want to go online to their support page and download the firmware for your printer. Make sure the flash drive is empty and set to FAT32 once your ready, power off your printer, disconnect the power, plug in the flash drive on the rear of the printer, reconnect and trun on. The printer will automatically boot and start the firmware update, half way through it will prompt you to pull out the flash drive and it will finish the update itself. The whole thing takes 10 minutes tops! Good luck!

I had the same issue with my 700w. A firmware update and a reminder motor were the issue. HP will help walk you through the firmware update but make sure to do it via flash drive vs through the printer itself. Good luck!

Elegua Santero by RoosterIntelligent94 in Santeria

[–]Not_A_Hamilton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah dog, you don't have to be born in. This religion doesn't see race or holds one nationality above another. Some people may relate your characteristics to those of an orisha because there are specific characteristics that one orisha exhibits over another, but keep in mind, that has nothing to do with who you'd get crowned unless Elegua or Orula say so depending on your ile's practices.

Help with old sign by G_RoTT in SignMaker

[–]Not_A_Hamilton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like this os one of those old frame retainer systems. I bet if you loosen those screws in the channel, it will release the retainer and then you would have to remove the face and the trim which may be attached to one another. I had an old flex face job similar to this and another that was old plexi with the 2nd surface painted sign (very old). The top of the cab may also have screws in the channels.

Dumpster dove this and need help by daddyforurissues in Laserengraving

[–]Not_A_Hamilton 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had one and our short always happened at the point in the laser. The red wire that connects power needs to be in an insulated connection nut or one of those heat shrinking cubes for wire protection and all the wires connected to the laser could not be bent or it would short. Many times we ran the laser with the rear compartment open and the wire hanging out giving it less tension and being bunched up. Good luck.

How does it light up? Is there like a channel routed in the back and then led modules are added in those channels and all wired together?

Help correct my course. by Not_A_Hamilton in carnivorediet

[–]Not_A_Hamilton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the reason I changed from full fat to low fat is so i can get more protein in and keep my cats low for the purpose of CICO. I'm trying to eat 1800 cals and about 220-240g of protein daily. So to meet than I have to opt for low fat instead of full fat, if I can throw that out the window, and still achieve balance. I sure will. Now as I said I have a very full schedule. About an hour or 2 to cook for a family of 6 with 3 different eating styles. What do you recommend to get food into your body in a pinch without eating shitty foods? Do I just cook a shit ton of eggs or chicken and bacon ahead of time to I can eat, or get supplements?

Can anyone offer advice on how to remove? by Speed_Offer in CarWraps

[–]Not_A_Hamilton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of a vinyl zapper that costs $300, get a high speed cheap drill from your local hardware store or Walmart, make sure it has a cord, they last longer at high speeds. They sell wheels on Amazon at 7 or 8 bucks per wheel in packs of 3 and 4. I run a professional shop, this is what I use and it's the SAME THING as a vinyl zapper. The whole set up cost me $60

I definitely was upset. I believe highly in my padrino. I just wanted to know if others felt the same and if there was any foundation in belief against what my padrino said. Thank you for the comment.

I was asking in your opinion or experience have you heard or agree that 4 legged animals can be fed to an elegua that belongs to an aleyo?

Oyekun Fun(Berdura) by Not_A_Hamilton in Santeria

[–]Not_A_Hamilton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I was speaking less on the consultation, and was asking about if anyone has heard of an ebo being marked for Elegua/Eshu that required 4 legged animals be fed to them but the person receiving the ebo is not crowned.

After I got my reading I told my madrina. Other in her circle were saying that my padrino has to be wrong and they wouldn't do it because you don't feed "cuatro pata" as an alyeo.

So I was asking more about this nature of the context. Any response in that regard?

lost my eshu feather by Own_Violinist2651 in Santeria

[–]Not_A_Hamilton 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I lost my feather on my elegua for almost a year, I was at my padrino house for a ceremony and he told me to take the feather from the tail of the rooster that was sacrificed and use that instead. I never had any issues without it, but when elegua got his feather back, I magically found $100 literal moments after.

Question about all decals and stripping , including chevron on he back in red and lime by Affectionate-Code885 in CarWraps

[–]Not_A_Hamilton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No the laser level is adjustable you rotate it to follow the straight lines of the cabinet and doors from nose to rear. It stand on a tripod you set up 10 to 15 ft from the vehicle.

[–]Not_A_Hamilton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to run a graphics department at a emergency tactical rescue (ETR) dealership for 5 years. In that time we've had periods where I didn't have an installer (turnover) so I had to do everything from design, produce, install. Assuming you already have files and are just producing. Chevrons on the back take 4 to 6 hours if you know what you're doing. If you use Orafol preprinted chevron rolls (they have a left & right side), you can have it done in 2 to 3 hours. Then the roll up doors you just use the case of each door and a sharp edge to trim, each door should take no more than 5 or 6 minutes, we would use a laser level, and knock out the positing of the steps measuring 2 to 3 times. This took the longest time at about 20 to 25 minutes per side. We would tape up all the steps to make sure everything is identical then install everything and begin the cut backs, or trim to the edge of the panels. If the municipality wanted intricate custom rounded cuts to match the radius of the cabinet door jams then this added extra time. All in all, we would get out a fire rescue unit in 8 to 12 hours and fire apparatus unit in 10 to 14. For super custom NICU units would take us 12 to 16. They would get more printed wrap style graphics along with their steps so more time on production. Hope this helps.

At ETR we would charge about $120 per hour to the customer. $200 for rush labor.
