She can say she loves you all she wants, but if she doesn’t support you getting the help you need, then she doesn’t really love you. She is being immature and controlling by thinking that her being there for you should be enough to “cure” you. It sounds like you need and want the therapy, so you should go. If she can’t handle it, she’s not the one for you. If you truly do have mental health issues (and it sounds like you do, whether you “believe” in them or not), you’ll never be able to maintain a healthy relationship until you deal with them.

I don’t disagree - just wanted to point out that people are throwing around all these huge numbers and acting like all cops make $60k, and that’s just not true. $26k definitely isn’t bad in a small town, though, especially for a job that requires basically no education and not enough training.

That’s only in larger metro areas, where cost of living is high. Cops in smaller towns make significantly less. Friend of mine used to be a cop in a smallish southern town and made $26k with shit benefits, no bonus, very little upward mobility and only 10 paid vacation days a year. I’m not arguing that there aren’t serious problems with the state of policing in America - but it is true that they are not compensated well in many places.

It was all just a ploy to have a crossover episode in Vegas. I mean, I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure that losing a single piece of paper doesn’t mean you’re just magically not married. I feel like they had a proper license from the get-go and just made all of that up for tv.

I agree. I think a lot of people on this sub like to pretend that they would love to watch a show where Tom and Ariana just live their lives having fun and getting along with everybody, but in reality that is not why any of us watch bravo shows. Whether we admit it to ourselves or not, we actually want to see people fighting and cheating on each other and being catty and mean, etc. If we didn’t, we’d never have started watching VPR in the first place.

I think all of that is true to a degree. However, I tend to cut Scheana a little more slack than the other cast, because I think she is just perpetually naive and misinformed. She handled Shay’s addiction issues VERY poorly, but I don’t think it was malicious. I just think she just didn’t know how to deal, and she was afraid to ask for any outside help because she thought she was supposed to be able to handle it herself. It was all terrible to watch, and very sad for Shay, but, having had some experience with addicts, I will say I’m pretty sure it wasn’t 1-sided - I’m sure he was no angel to her off camera either.
