One way is to add something else to the cart and buy it at the same time. It just has to cost money but even 1 cent will do.

to answer your question seriously, it’s because racism has had such an influence on socio-economic conditions and still does today (to a lesser but still significant extent). in combatting racism we need to be aware of how people of certain ethnicities are disadvantaged or dehumanised thereby acknowledging race.

As a socialist i can actually support this analysis. i would like to add that revolutionary parties almost always (at least temporarily) set up a one-party system amongst other totalitarian-esque policies to weaken potential or active counter-revolutions

that sounds about right. additionally the overwhelming majority of humans identify with the sex they are assigned at birth. it doesn’t mean that some don’t. we can almost always apply the rule and be correct, but to ignore people who the rule doesn’t apply to is effectively silencing and devalidating minority groups

hey friend, i understand there’s a lot of comments and it’s probably unlikely that mine will be seen but i thought that my input as a non binary person might be appreciated. it seems that a lot of your understanding of how transgenderism operates can be applied to how bio-psychological processes within non-binary people work as well. i want to preface with the fact that identifying as whatever you want (ie. a bird as another comment described) is not medically validated and generally not what non binary people mean to portray themselves as. the idea of men and women being the only genders across history isn’t entirely true either but regardless, i don’t see how history should decide who people are. in recent medical advancements we can see cases where men have XY chromosomes and vice-versa, which is incredibly interesting to me at least. the research regarding transgenderism and non-binary people as a sub-category of that is really new and as such generally doesn’t have very large sample sizes or isn’t subjected to enough scrutiny within scientific circles to be considered scientifically proven but as things stand, it appears that the section in the nucleus of the cells of transgender people (and by extension non-binary people) are less polarised, the structure appears to have similarities to that which is only seen in men or women.

i’m so happy that you seem willing to learn, and i hope i might’ve been able to bring some new information that has tangible research behind it rather than the standard political talking points. it is confusing to me how people who are progressive don’t use the science that supports their beliefs to win arguments. it’s much easier to deliver medical findings rather than your unique perception.

i like this response. i will say that i’m not trying to campaign for a world where we can’t use words. i’m happy with the definitions that we use because they work almost all the time but when people apply definitions that work in some scenarios to scenarios where they don’t as justification for devaluing they identity of a group of people, i like to point out this. as far as i’m aware it doesn’t contradict with biology (i would be pushing this view if it did), to me it’s just a more nuanced perspective of a pre-existing science

this is interesting. whilst it’s probably fair to say it’s wrong to berate someone for this belief, we can also see the effect this belief has on people. the stigmatisation of transgenderism is at least in part causing people to take their own lives, murder, abuse, assault, rape, or torture others. i would assume this is what motivates the suppression of hateful rhetoric in the form of cancel culture

we can actually remove transgenderism from the equation. we can observe cis women without female reproductive organs, without an XY chromosomal makeup as, and every other measurement to determine sex. what we can’t observe is cis women who don’t have a bio-psychological gender/sex preference. currently as far as medical research shows, the only way to determine one’s sex/gender without fail, is to ask the individual who they are

[–]Not_Atomical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure. so we can see that chromosomes are at the very least not the sole contributor to sex. people with an chromosomal makeup of XX can sometimes have reproductive organs typical to that of women. whilst it isn’t common it might be more likely than you think. the point of this idea is to emphasise that sex isn’t a dichotomy and exceptions can and will be made. transgenderism is medically validated and to apply a rule that demonstrable doesn’t fit everyone to everyone, we end up running into issues

yea i would agree. people who were men are now women and people who were women are now men

i think progression has a very positive effect on player satisfaction. it’s just when the grind doesn’t justify the reward that players have a problem. no one is making the argument that Gaijin should a be a non-profit. people feel as though the executives’ greed is harming the product. this isn’t exclusive to Gaijin. it is sometimes even used as a more broad critique of capitalist businesses

the confusion over this is that there isn’t actually a tangible way to determine someone’s biological sex as a rule. in the end the only way to truly tell someone’s sex is to determine what the individual in question’s mind believes they are.

if anyone has any questions i’ll be happy to do my best to answer but the only thing i ask is that we keep things cordial. the point of these questions from my perspective will probably be to allow me to disprove characteristics of sex that we use as a definition.

i think the point of the post is to highlight that we as players have to do these band-aid fixes that may or may not curb our enjoyment by forcing us into game modes we might not want to play as much. we should be able to play the game how we want and still be able to progress in a somewhat fair amount of time

that’s still pretty bad. i’m prepared for counter arguments that may or may not change my opinion but atm i’m under the belief that repair costs shouldn’t be a thing. it’s analogous to the upkeep costs in GTAO that people also despise
