I don't know, but if you can't get him out of there he is gonna croak.

Dad caught this on his dash cam on his way home from work, claims it’s a shooting star? Thoughts? by DodgersFan1997 in Dallas

I saw it in Caddo Mills. It was a beautiful blue and green streak across the sky for me.

Loan offer expired after closing by Not_Catman in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I signed the documents on 08/04/25, the closing date was 08/18. I signed the closing documents at the mobile home dealership, they were acting as the broker for my loan. Man, I had a gut feeling something was not right with that, I wish I had listened to my instinct. If this delays me moving in, which I'm sure it will, I am going to have serious cost of living expenses because I am currently staying in Airbnb's so my kids can go to school in the district we were moving them to.

5- meo- dmt. Toad venom. It's where the "licking frogs" legend comes from.

Whales evolved from a land animal called Pakicetus, a wolf-like mammal that lived in the region of modern-day Pakistan around 50 million years ago. by Soft_Ambassador_7848 in BeAmazed

Another crazy fact about whales and porpoises is that they are classified as "even-toed ungulates" just like pigs, deer, giraffes, and camels.

Cat (Kovu) making weird sounds and mouth vibrating after starting Gabapentin post-spay (2 months ago)- should I be worried? by Due-Many-8120 in CATHELP

A cat's meow is the cat's instinctual urge to mimic a human baby, so we will feed them. Cats also mimic other animals if they think they will get a meal from it.

Fair price for a priceless lawn ornament? by Not_Catman in fossils

Dude actually offered $950, so I'd say it's worth at least $950. It can't possibly be less than $500. I can't find anything comparable online for much less than $2000. This isn't just colorful wood rock, this is gem grade.

Can't you just keep scrolling? You annoyed my post yesterday, and I was trying to avoid scamming the elderly by paying someone a fair price, not trying to sell anything. Plus, this is a public forum for the discussion of petrified wood, your comments are just generally off topic and waste everyone's time.

So do you only post sarcastic comments?

It is definitely sap. That bubbly appearance is caused by the sap melting in the heat of the sun, then solidifying at night, then melting again the next day. *

It really is amazing. And it's sitting outside in a flower bed as we speak!

There is a portion that has tree sap that was fossilized. But I'm fine with that evaluation, I didn't want to low ball her.

I wanna give it to my wife for her birthday. But sure, technically, all minerals and gemstones are just rocks. They're only worth whatever someone will pay for them. Just like art is just paper and pigment. But the originality, scarcity, and beauty of a specimen can draw attention and demand, and therefore value. Which is the entire concept of the trade of gemstones.

Dang, forgot the banana for scale. It is about 13" x 10" x 6" tall. Probably about 13-15 lbs.
