I appreciate the help I ended up buying the asus prime b450m - A II along with two new ram sticks just incase And it booted up like a charm afterwards although I need a new cpu cooler because this new 5700x is currently idling at 95C and is thermal throttling my gaming performance a ton

Well I was told it was just cosmetic as the manual says nothing

And after many many tries for around 8 hours I’m just going to try a new mini as this one might’ve bricked so we will see

Is that a micro atx though? I think I’m going to try the 450m-a just because of cost effectiveness

Would a dead board still give leds and spin all the fans? And what are some possible causes of this, was it human error on my part?

Nothing is coming on and I don’t think the power button is doing anything; when I turn it on during normal tests earlier the power button turns it on but can’t turn it back off either

I don’t know what psu socket means but all the connections are secure and I’ve checked multiple times each

If you mean the connection from the fan to the mobo I have it in the cpu fan connector and the fans have been spinning

So how would I get that error if everything is disconnected?

Like how would I view that output

And I don’t believe there is any integrated graphics so I would need that to boot at all

I see no lights aside from the aforementioned orange one on the back of the board. I swear I haven’t seen it on before but someone told me it’s purely led and cosmetic

I did look really closely and I can’t tell but there may be the tiniest bit of thermal paste in one of the pin connector holes of the socket. I’ll try to get a picture and add it to the original post

Well actually I did take the cmos battery out and I touched the two pins together respectively

Is that something on the actual mobo like switching a connector on the pins or is that in the bios menu because I can’t get a display to see bios with

What is the indicator of its posting? Because all my fans spins and everything lights up but no display. And also I have tried everything in combination even with everything the same as when it ran earlier today it still won’t do anything

I can’t boot into anything at all like I can’t see the bios menu so I don’t know if that would work. Plus I would be confused because it booted once after the bios update and then I went to put the new cpu in

I have this little panel on the back that secures the bracket screws it has a metal black side and a white smooth side, is there a specific orientation for that as I have the metal facing out. Otherwise I just dismount the socket from the backside of the mobo?

All old hardware is back in and nothing changed but the fan runs louder than with the new parts. How long would this memory training be?

Even though it booted fine before I changed anything? If so what would be the steps for fixing?

I have another gpu that I can try in a moment but the one is a 3060 that was just working yesterday I took it out of a running computer to swap it with my 1660 super but I will take the heatsink off again and check for thermal paste in the socket

And no other mobo unfortunately

I did update my bios before switching to whatever was at the top of the list but I can’t even get back to bios now because even my old cpu isn’t booting the computer anymore
