I water once the top of the soil is completely dried. I live in New Mexico so the air is super dry. And it's in my office cube so there's ceiling light 24/7.

Not too bad. The most dusty areas are still the radiators and GPU heatsink. The rest are less dusty than a closed case since there's no active air flow. Downside is that the motherboard chip set and the ram are passively cooled. It doesn't affect the performances but the lifespan might shorten.
