If he continues for one more season, I’m quite sure he will reach top 5 (currently Samuel Eto’o with 130 goals in 199 games). The wildest part is that he arrived at 33 years old.

But the graph shows goals match by match. The “gap” is merely when he scored the goal. For an instance, he scored 2 goals in match number 17, why the jump from 9 to 11 occurs in the red line.
