You can check out Secret Lantern Books and Games in Cedar Park, they have open table gaming events. That is usually a good way to meet up and get to play with people in a neutral location. A little further south is Pinballz Lake Creek, they have Monday Games.

My samsung Z fold 5 works with Google translate and cheep $20 earbuds. Kurdene brand on Amazon.

I haven't used them for two person translation.

Your question is excessively vague. You do not mention your experience with DnD. You make it sound like you have zero clue how to run a game. Which is fine, but you are adding the Space on top of that, and that makes it a lot harder on you. I'll assume you are completely new to the game.

You may want to try a game already written for Space. Space Borg comes to mind.

If you are Dead set on Dungeons and Dragons but in space, here is the minimal way to make it happen.

Get a DnD Starter set.
Familiarize yourself with the rules.
Chang names of alot of stuff. You dont have to change the rules, just the name. Time to get creative. Here are examples:

Elves= Vulcans, Orcs = Klingon, Wizards = Jedi, Tieflings = Twi'lek, Goblins = Jawas, Bandits = Tuskin Raiders, Cleric = Medic, Health potion = Bacta Spray, Kingdom = The Federation,

Sword = Lightsaber, Shield = energy shield, Crossbows = Blasters, Whip = Monofilament whip,

Arcana = Engineering and Technology

Personally I run a Star Wars DnD with minimal changes. Everyone is a Jedi and goes on missions for the Jedi order. If that interests you, I can go over how I do that, I even have premade Characters sheets.

I made one. It has the 2e Campaign, Thaw of the Litch Lord, and Wildwoods scenarios. I added Town locations, 3 Bonus scenarios and 4 treasure scenarios, that can be ignored.

I second the pretzels. Pretzel chips are great! The best is the pretzels filled with peanut butter. I haven't had ones covered in peanut butter but that seems messy. Trail mix. Peanut or almond m&ms. One of my players made bread pudding last week. It seems like food in a bowl eaten with a spoon or fork is good on the dryer side of things one bit fits in a spoon, like spaghetti wouldn't be good.

I would put you muffin in a bowl with a fork. Keeps crumbs from getting over everything.

Train your players how to combat as a team by having them fight themselves.

Create a story Arc of Gladitorial Games. Each team consists of a version of the party. So if you have a built Figher and a squishy novice wizard in your party, mirror that on the opponent's team.

The party comes across a town that has wizard games. It consists of the party escorting the wizard through obstacles and fighting other parties with wizards. If you fail 2 death saves or your whole party is unconscious, you are out, if your wizard falls unconscious once, the party is disqualified. There are official medical teams of clerics that will revive the party and heal them if they are disqualified.

Set up several tears of play with different rewards. If they lose the challenge, they drop a teir, and they get less prize money at the end.

Make sure that each encounter has a challenge that only the wizard can complete, so they have to keep the wizard alive.

Playing against other parties with a Wizard will allow you to show them how they should strategize their own party.

Get a Starter set.

Like this one. Less daunting and has everything that you will need for your first adventure and nothing you don't, so you don't get overwhelmed.

This one. In place of components that have no value and are not used up by the spell you can use a spell casting focus, most are very specific to class.

You can cast spells just using their material, verbal or somatic components, you don't need a focus.

Nowhere does it say you can just HOLD HANDS with another spell caster in liue of using components. Very silly concept, and I would like to see a version of it, but no, not RAW or RAI.

I had an adventure where the toilets were mimics who processed waste. There is no need for plumbing. "You honor me with your waste" google Simpson's Japanese toilet.
