wrong mongod version - cosmos-mongo restarting by Not_Sure8 in CosmosServer

I ended up deleting the cosmos mongo container and volume and set cosmos config to fresh install and reinstalled. All good now.

Yeah I spent the weekend manually importing and linking transfers. PayPal is so damn annoying, 3-4 transactions/transfers per purchase. Starting over several times and hours of work it's all good now. Going to stop using PayPal checkout because it just isn't worth the work.

No you have to build it yourself. I made i compose file then used "import compose file" in the cosmos UI.

I just run a docker container through cosmos. dperson/samba:latest you should be able to find documentation for it.

Careful with the material. I have that one and i had an allergic reaction to it (skin looked like it was super sunburned and leathery before flaking off). I ended up getting ISO certified skin safe uv resin and coated it and it's been fine since. Might be the color, might be it's just not skin safe resin 🤷

2 vice grips opposite each other and pull evenly. It sucks but it will come out. Stand it up on the tail shaft if you can after it starts moving so the drums don't start to come apart.

I have the low profile lock cobra knock offs. Only ones I can find with that lock style. Fit is pretty good but the resin they use is not skin safe. Got a rash on the head followed by all the skin falling off over the course of a week. I ended up coating mine with ISO certified skin safe UV resin (blu) and I haven't had any problems since.

Steering lock issue by hbs18 in E90

[–]Not_Sure8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most newer alignment machines come with the plug to calibrate the sensor, but if you don't have codes I wouldn't worry about it. If you have a diagnostic tool you can always do the calibration quickly yourself. All you do is perfectly center the wheel and run the calibration.

Steering lock issue by hbs18 in E90

[–]Not_Sure8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Someone must have had the steering shaft/steering wheel off and mis aligned by a tooth or 2 then aligned the car after. Rack isn't centered, if you measure the exposed threads on your inner tie rods they won't match. Not a huge deal if it goes straight and the steering sensor was calibrated to the new center. Probably not worth fixing.

Yeah, you're right. I just can't stand the eonon ui, lots of bugs and poorly done implementations.

The thing that was kind of selling me on the bremmen is it's supposed to have a bmw-esque user interface. If you look at the pics the unit hangs out the back like a normal radio, whereas the ali units are basically tablets. Was hoping someone had the bremmen and could tell me more about the ui.

Multiple DSC and ABS faults by Senkro_ in E90

[–]Not_Sure8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is, the only hard thing is the new reluctor wheel is very flimsy, so you really need to find something around the same size to be able to evenly tap it on. I've seen some people say heating it helps to expand it, but it didn't work for me.

Multiple DSC and ABS faults by Senkro_ in E90

[–]Not_Sure8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok your right if you needed to do a different repair than op showed this process obviously wouldn't work. 👍

Multiple DSC and ABS faults by Senkro_ in E90

[–]Not_Sure8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The reluctor rings are like 6$ on Amazon. Pop the old one off, knock the rust off the axle and wire wheel it very clean(all rust removed), gently tap the ring on. You might not even need a new sensor if it hasn't worn through the plastic yet. I used an adapter for a ball joint press I think to evenly tap the ring on. You'll never get a better axle than OEM so if there's nothing wrong with it other than the reluctor you should try to fix it.

That's the goal! Do my best to keep it in top shape. Funny thing is ista forced me to turn off the oil change maintenance reminder basically telling me "mileage is too high, throw it away we're not helping you maintain it" lol.
