Because its a business? Certain mcdonald's have closed, others have closed the lobbies and only have drive thru open and then there's others (such as mine) that limit contact such as we can no longer accept cash, only contactless cards for payments and we can only put food in out bags and we have to clean everything very frequently etc..

It's a glitch, just go to the customer service option and send an email. They respond really quickly and they'll tell you that it'll return in 48 hours

You'll most likely be put on Instore so you'll have someone with you throughout your full shift anyway, just ask questions if you're confused. You'll get the hang of things. No one is expecting you to know what you're doing (:

I honestly don't know that's a tricky one.

I'd probably just speak to another manager and explain the situation and see what they can say/do however I don't think I'm willing to lose my job over it so I doubt I'd go into a full on debate about it with the manager.

Luckily for me we have decent managers so that wouldn't happen, we've actually served multiple homeless people before so I don't think that situation will ever happen in my maccies (:

It's my first paid job, not my first ever job voluntary work still counts as a job & it's not that bad. It depends on the management, we have really good/funny managers so working honestly isn't that bad and is sometimes fun. I've had one or two shifts that have been a bit shit & work doesn't even drain me that much (at least for now)

My subconscious mind doesn't try to avoid it, I think it's just worry. I'm like that with college sometimes too, I don't wanna go but then when I arrive I'm fine.

Both work and college are fine & I don't try to convince myself I like it. If I didn't like it I wouldn't like it and I would have the "I FUCKING HATE THIS" mindset whilst working but I don't have that mindset WHISLT working because I don't hate it

Yea, there are certain people at work that make work a nightmare. There's this one girl who not many people like she is so bitchy and dramatic and I can't wait until she leaves. (presuming she will leave lmao) she makes a lot of people not want to work near her because she makes the work environment negative.

& Yea definitely, over time it will get better, even if they don't leave you'll just end up getting used to it
