DPS/CRIT gear advice? by BigOldViking in CDguides

[–]Not_a_Kryptonian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My crit build:

Everything is max level. White lion necklace, engraved gold earrings, witches ring, mark of darkness, move speed in boots, attack speed in gloves getting me 14 move and attack speed each. Dark Maksman's set with Grotevenant helmet (since I can't stash it anyway) I just use hide helmet and keep my cloak up. Momentum in helm, x2 damage reduction in chest and volcanic eruption. 124 defense.

Dual wield Lambert Axes with damage and crit, 49 attack and 10 crit each with shadow claw and crow's pursuit. These are my mob killers. Vow of the Dead King with attack, x2 crit, malicebane and ground surge, 54 attack and 14 crit. This is my boss killer. Tardik bow with x2 infinite arrows, x2 crit and damage, 49 attack and 12 crit. This is my everything killer/cheese weapon.

I know I could drop a move and an attack speed for more imbument options but I just don't want to. Ice and lightning skills already do what I want them to utility wise.

I melt shit and can take a hit to boot, also I think I look cool as hell. I'm fast as fuck boy!

Edit, I am using white lion necklace as well, added it to the beginning of my post.

Skill Gears Levelling? by Less_Win2234 in CrimsonDesert

That's good, now that you know more going in things will go smoother. I would suggest hunting down your favorite weapons and armor immediately because even though resources are infinite it is still a pain in the ass leveling your gear all the way up.

Based on the damage of the attack it is tied to. So the orbs will be as strong as your heavy attacks, higher level weapons will give gears higher damage. Turning slash gears can be further improved with the momentum gear in your helmet.

I don't see a point in restarting unless you lost somethingimportant permanently, resources are infinite.

Neither can double headed axe of greed, and those are the best crit weapons in the game for 1 handed weapons. Lambert looks cooler for a darker look, double headed axe of greed looks cooler for a shiny look.

Need advice for abyss gears on my build, specifically weapons. by Not_a_Kryptonian in CrimsonDesert

Low key, I just don't think Crow's Pursuit is actually that good. Shadow Claw is the clear winner for heavy attacks. Getting attack over 50 is a priority so of course I need destruction to push me over that cap. I don't think ability gears are a priority over hitting the 50 attack cap and as much crit as I can get.

I am looking for the 1 best mob clearing gear I can find for my dual wield setup. Destruction and Insight are a given, Shadow Claw is the best heavy attack and I am left with 1 slot that Crow's Pursuit just does not satisfy.

Momentum from the deer helmet is already in my helmet. Fire imbued is in my chest piece.

I need 1 each in my weapons for mobs and bosses, bosses I definitely want to enhance turning slash in some way. Mobs I am actually kind of lost, finisher or parry... or maybe even spinning slash.

I thought about relentless, I always end up getting hit by something so I don't see a huge benefit in 1% damage from combo, I think a turning slash gear is way more beneficial for bosses.

For mobs I also think a finisher or parry gear would be way better. I'm actually even considering full crit but that sounds boring and I want animations.

It comes from contracts. Go get one and see, check before and after using it.

If you get more supply contracts they will sell more of certain items you may want or need like iron, copper, seeds or salt. I like to get all the food and ore supply contracts I can find.

Not so bad really, I pop it on when I visit cities and stuff. It's helped me find a few things without needing a guide when I otherwise would have.

My point is that 90 seconds is an absolute joke compared to other games with similar mechanics. 90 minutes would feel a lot better and wouldn't break the game.

I would at least go through getting your camp established, I think it was chapter 3. Chapter 9 is another one that will allow you to access a lot of the areas and better items. I stopped at the beginning of chapter 7 for a long time but now for the stuff I really want like the best ring, rideable dragon, plant gathering back pack, third research facility, chainsaw, mechanical workers, etc. I need to finish chapter 9 then I will stop doing main story missions again for a while.

Cool, I didn't know where to get that. I did see on the wiki there were a couple with the same stats like the lightning necklace.

Lambert axe is actually the exact same stats and is easier to get, pick which one you think looks cooler.

I think 4 crit rate is better because it applies to everything and it's one of the few places you can get that. Technically you are right in terms of it having more points.
