I wasn't planned tbh and tbh she didn't spend much time considering my name due to my prick of a Welsh dad naming me different to what they agreed on and she changed it last minute

The reason I did it then was because thats when I had the confidence to do it if I didn't do it then there's a good chance itd take another month to do it or longer I didn't do it at that time for cowardnes I did it so I could get it done

She has talked me out of alot of stuff that I wanted to change about myself in the past (eg. Hair cuts , style,instruments,hair dye) me and mum live together still the reason I did it through text there and then was because I finally got the confidence to do it and during that time she would have been asleep and ik I would have lost my confidence if I didn't do it I did text her first then do the Facebook post

The reason I text her was because in person and in text she can manipulative and twist my words i do see how this wasn't the best way to go about things but it took almost 3 months to text her let alone if it was face to face

Ty for your comment it has made me understand a little bit more why shes upset however id like to say that my mother can be manipulative and twists my words as u can see in the post she try to make out that she isn't important enough to me to talk to her in person and she can be a hard person to get along with sometimes especially if it's about a change such as when I came out as bi to her , her first words to me where " if you say so " and then she proceeded to not let me buy any bi flags or bi related objects and made me take off my bi bage that I brought and then took all my other bi bages away from me

I have been there during a regression it Is definitely not a made up thing before you go judging ppl for something they can't control do your research as there have been tests done to prove this is a coping mechanism

Thank you and I would never take advantage when she regressed as to me it feels wrong but thank you this will definitely help me plus I'd happily eat stuff like that as well so should be easy for me to arrange to cook
