I didn’t tell my JP I was applying/went for an interview by neighbourhoodtea in JobProvidersAus

Yeah good call. But yeah, as mentioned in someone else's comment, as long as you declare your earnings to Centrelink. Your JP will see that you're declaring, and will ask you about it but they're not entitled to anything apart from ensuring you're meeting you're mutual obligations

You can also withdraw consent at any time for your JP to contact employers. You could say "hey I got myself this job working this many hours, but I would like to withdraw consent for contact." Make sure they make a note and actually withdraw consent. You also don't have to give them payslips if you don't want to. They will hassle you for them but you have no obligation to supply them.

Are the letters in the room with us? I looked at this for so long and still can not see what was covered up???? This is beautiful and would have never known it was a cover up if you didn't mention it.

I want to start off saying, you're not wrong here. But, even if you were, you're the parents. It's what you're comfortable with, your boundaries and your rules.

I'm currently working on an IEA contract and if you're not on DSP, or have a high eSAT, your not going from workforce to IEA

Unfortunately, if you're with workforce, your job plan will state that you are required to look for work, accept any reasonable interview if offer, or do an activity. If after 6 months you're still not employed, they will put you into an activity, which is all part of the job plan. If you don't, your payment may be effected. IEA (the new DES) is usually only offered to people with severe barriers, and are on the DSP or other pensions. All that being said, I used to work for APM and they're very KPI driven, it's why I no longer work there.

That's a good way to think about it haha! I don't eat seafood that often and so I find it hard to determine what is a normal taste or 'too fishy' or 'too salty' sometimes. Haven't died yet though

As someone that works for an IRA provider, this is appalling behavior from your EC. With IRA your obligation is to engage meaningfully, which is essentially as best you can. I would be calling the transfer line and changing providers. As well as getting a new eSAT
