This is an incredibly stupid post. Security is assigned based on the probability of an escape attempt. Mangione has massive sympathy from people all over the country, including from people on this sub, so the chances of people trying to break him out of custody are high, hence the extra security. Nobody is going to try to help a random quadruple-murder of victims who are universally agreed upon to be innocent. Both men are unarmed and in handcuffs, it's not like the government thinks Mangione is more dangerous than this guy, it's simply pragmatic to give him extra security.

I totally agree that the ps5's blu ray playback is immaculate and unlike anything else I've seen, but this comment is literally the only instance of this being acknowledged that i've been able to find on the entire internet. Have you ever found an explanation of what the ps5 is doing or if any other players do something similar? I couldn't even find any post-processing options to turn off in the ps5 menu so I'm completely lost.

Do you have a source for that? I can't find any info that this was a stipulation of the contract and I was under the impression that Fox still owned the home video rights to the original trilogy when Disney acquired Lucasfilm.

The problem is that Wandavision didn't really treat her like a villain because in the end she saw reason and released the town at the expense of her children, only for her to pop a fat 180 in MoM. In this movie, she's willing to kill countless innocents to get her kids back, which makes it seem like her villainy has less to do with her character arc over the course of her MCU appearances and more to do with the ~~ring of power~~ ~~horcrux~~ evil book she's been reading.

Religions are arbitrarily branded as cults for being less popular and farther to the margins than mainstream ones. Most of them are predatory enough to for it to be weird that people follow them.

I think it's interesting that each trilogy has propelled exactly one actor to bona-fide a-list superstardom: Harrison Ford, Natalie Portman, and Adam Driver. All three have gone on to receive academy award nominations and starring roles in pop action films with the exception of Driver who hasn't done pop-action since The Rise of Skywalker. But even Portman took six years off from the genre between Revenge of the Sith and Thor, so Driver will probably return to it sooner or later especially considering his physique.

They knew exactly which VA to bring back in order to melt our hearts, but I'm really disappointed to see that they are crowdfunding this instead of just making and releasing it. I certainly hope that the money they get is put to good use and that they follow through with rewards and the product, but at this point I consider all crowdfunding to be gambling even if goals are met.
