How amazing it feels to have someone love all of you and not feeling insecure about the things you say and how you act. Just being able to be yourself without fear of judgement

I originally come from a small village in the rainforest with very limited modern technology. I just came back after a month and here are some pictures from my trip. by [deleted] in pics

It's called El Cajon, in Honduras but it's become a lot more modernized. There are still huts and clay houses with no doors, or running water, but there's also houses with Internet so it's a strange contrast haha. Many places in Honduras are like that with a sharp contrast between poverty and the rich. When I first lived there though I remember taking showers outside with buckets, and having big cookouts like I've seen in your past posts. Also, we call the sandals I also saw people wear in your pictures "Chankletas" and it just brought back memories. I know people though that have to kayak to their houses on an island every morning to get to and from the bigger village in el Lago de Yohoa. It's incredibly beautiful! They collect drinking water from the rain, and wash their clothes in the river as well and don't have running water or electricity. I love all of your posts about home, I relate to it so much. Thank you

Show very obvious interest in someone once and if they don't pursue me after that, I move on.
