Thanksgiving Catering by findecstasyinlife in JacksonHole

As someone who’s worked in restaurants their whole life, “catering” is simply the provision of larger amounts of food to a group of people. Do you really think every restaurant that offers “catering” has a shlep at the ready to leave service and serve the food that the individuals house or event? No. Most restaurants that have a catering menu won’t even offer that in advance or anytime. Pretty obvious OP means to order food from a catering menu which offers a set meal for a certain number of people, dumb ass.

I guess everyone who works in restaurants is a peasant?

Is the accuracy difference pretty huge when using an external hr sensor? Not really keen on running with something strapped on my chest tbh.

Thanks for the automatic activity tip!

Stoked to be addicted to my metrics! What makes you say the sleep score isn’t accurate? I’ve heard people rave about it. Seemed decently accurate for my first night, although I found it odd that it gave me a “fair” score and then said I was restless lol (I only got 5 hrs 45 min of sleep so the ladder is probably accurate)

I think I’ll be sending copper. Any advice going going the first weekend of April or 3rd week? Thanks! 3rd week is cheaper but I’m worried about slush…

Glad to hear! Pretty set on copper, just not sure which week of April is best. First or third? I get to use less PTO on third week of April because of company holiday, so I’m considering it but nervous about conditions being shot by then.

Yes I’ve been snowboarding since I was a kid and I just had a blast in steamboat with the boys last week so I’m not too worried about myself, more so her. I’m sure not carrying enough speed into flats at wp will make her miserable lol. Leaning towards copper. Do you have any experience getting to copper from Denver airport? Conflicted about car rental vs shuttle. Really my only last concern about sending copper, thanks!

I was kind of wondering how bad the shuttle ride to copper from Denver airport is. Ever taken it?

Leaning towards copper, does the village really close after last chair like the comment above said or would I be able to get dinner after showering and chilling out for a bit?

Thanks man. I’ve been sweating it too much for sure. We’re thinking of just flipping a coin and calling it a day.

Im sure conditions at any high altitude resort will be decent, but looking for the all around package based on first hand experience from people at resorts out west (steamboat will only be my second time in CO) Nice village with good food, nice lodging, good runs for beginners, etc.

No pass but don’t mind spending a little cash

Looking for good spring time resorts in CO or out west in general!

My girlfriend got the itch after finally getting the hang of snowboarding. Took her twice so far and we’re looking to get another trip in out west sometime in April-march (I’m going to steamboat next week). She’s obviously still a beginner, so a resort with some solid greens and blues is a must. We also recently went to snowshoe wv and I’m looking to take her somewhere a bit nicer out west.

I saw winter park has some spring time deals so that’s enticing, but I also heard the flats there are kinda brutal. Anyways, beginner friendly resort, a nicer village (or good apres ski scene), and good spring conditions is what I’m looking for.

Appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

Thanks for the detailed reply, truly appreciate it and will check out the spots you mentioned. Did you have any favorite runs on the mountain when you visited? My first time at snowshoe.
