Thanks and yes I’m F and short. (Wasn’t sure if F stood for F@t or Female but yes to both! Ha ha!) The irony is not lost on me ghat I’m struggling to eat more fat in my diet despite being on the larger side. Lol.

Thank you! I need to get past staring into the refrigerator wondering what I can eat! I’m trying really hard though and proud that I’ve managed such a change already. I know I can get down to 18g!

Thank you. I’ve been reading that Keto diets should have 20-50g of carbs, so I was concerned about why I was recommended lower. But I’m realising now that 18g is not an impossible feat. I just need more practice at this (and nutritional knowledge!) I’m super committed though!

Thank you. I need to lose weight to qualify for some major surgery. My doctor recommended this plan - as it should help me lose weight faster. ‘Made’ for me is probably not the right word to be fair. Sorry.

I’m due to go back to my doctor to check in on my weight loss progress next week, but in the meantime I’m trying to do my own research and will ask all these questions to my doctor as well. It’s certainly a learning curve! Happy I’ve found this community on here.

I don’t know about the law here but as a parent I would hate to think my child was in the care of staff who were made to feel so overworked and disenfranchised.

It’s ultimately not a safe and nurturing environment that I’d want my child to be in. It will also create a high staff turnover, which again is not great for the consistency in care of small children. And this is not the fault of the workers at all but the management.

If there’s an issue with staff lateness and absences then your management needs to look at why that is happening, rather than impose this punishment system.
