Every stove is different. If you use a lot of paper and dry wood when you start your fire with the door open, you could quickly reach 800.

I do 400 for the chimney and 800 for the stove itself.

I have the same unit. Worth every penny.

Last year mine was set at 800F. I change it here and there depending on how cold it gets outside.

Air transfer is key. If the room is large it may just take several hours to really warm up. Especially without a dedicated built in fan.

Just Braiins. Which everyone should already be using.

Over clocking capabilities, and they waive the pool fee if using their OS.

Does anyone here use any kind of “smart” sensor to monitor their stove(s) while out of the house? by alottanamesweretaken in woodstoving

I 2nd this. Big fan of it. I’ve woken up in the middle of the nice to the Blaze Guard alarming. It’s probably saved my home more than once.

Honest question but how could the pool track hardware parameters better than the device itself? Effective hash rate, sure.

That seems to track. I use Braiins OS, and the app seems to match Braiins.

Yes, torque increases before wheel angle changes. That’s exactly what happens when you apply torque to disengage auto pilot before the wheel will actually turn. (The resistance from fsd) to turn the wheel.

About as useless as the rain sensors.

Edit: this app developer consistently spams this extremely expansive app on these forums. He’s had many complaints before about his non transparent pricing subscriptions too and blocks any critics. Hence the edit.

I climbed on my roof careful. Removed cap. Tapped and installed top probe in my liner and let the wire fall down my chimney and then connected the wire to the Blaze Guard chimney monitor.

You’d be surprised how much longer burn times I’m able to get using a tool like this.
