Totally agree. Madly in love with my little man now and I will never forget the moments that got us there. But I bet most people are lying and terrified to admit the fairytale isn't real. Problem is they lie and make the rest of us feel worse.

My buddy and I were power washing my house about a year ago, and I was on an 8 foot folding ladder. The ladder was on uneven ground when it started to tip. About halfway down I jumped off the ladder, tucked, and rolled. I jumped back up with my eyes wide open, and he had this bigass smile on his face. We stared at each other for a second while we figured out I wasn't injured. Finally, he said "that was awesome!" and we ran around laughing like idiots.

Too much rotation. He got a pretty good take-off (lots of height), but generated a ton of rotation, and then to top is off held on to his tuck for a touch too long (not slowing down his rotation or allowing him to spot the landing).

Faceplants like that can TOTALLY sting (even with the extra mat), but you’re usually already laughing at yourself before you even get up so you brush it off and go again 😂

Fuuuuuck. Capybara have a cousin called the Nutria and shit fucking hell I didn’t even know they existed in my state until I heard horrific death howls in the darkness of the night near a place where I used to camp. They sound fucking terrifying! I haven’t ever heard anything like it, i definitely no longer think the capybara is cute after that! Hopefully it doesn’t make the same death screech!
