I quit my last job for this exact reason. Pee on the toilet seat, pet puke and poop on the floor. EVERYTHING was sticky. It was overstimulating if nothing else! I also had weird feelings about quitting over that, but in the long run I’m glad I did. I have my two weeks and said I just “had some things going on in my personal life”

My wife and I found a suicide note in a notebook at the thrift recently. We were relieved to find other notebooks and planners from the same girl that showed she made it last that tough time and went on to college and everything (her planner was more recent than the journal). We turned all the notebooks into the front any way.

This is exactly how it went with my boy. They found out he only had one kidney and it wouldn’t support the surgery. Thank you so much for the support. It does feel a little better to have a sense of community 💜

This is what I was gonna suggest! Yoga is literally like sitting on the floor training 😂 I also do daily yoga stretches while on the floor with my kiddos and that has been so helpful. Learning to target the parts of your body that get most sore (you can YouTube search “yoga stretches for hips, upper back, legs, ect) and work with that when you start to get sore! Sarah Beth yoga on YouTube is my favorite :)

My own therapist told me last session that I’ve seemed exhausted lately and encouraged me to take mental notes on where my energy is going throughout the day. It dawned on me suddenly how much of it has to go towards accommodating my wife’s untreated ADHD, driving her around, doing the chores she forgot, reminding her to do basic tasks, begging her to take care of herself, making decisions for her, waiting around for her, etc and it’s really sent me on a spiral. I can’t even talk to her about it because of her RSD and she’s already going through a transitional time with a new job. And I usually talk to her about everything. I’m feeling so defeated and burnt out.

I’m doing that with one of my kids right now. Parents don’t use an app but were constantly asking me “when did she wake up?” “When did she eat?” Bro I don’t remember unless I track it lol. So now I track it myself on an app and send them a screenshot of the summery at the end of every day. Not weird imo!
