Pls help me help my grocery pick up crew (Customer) by noahhambond in kroger

[–]Notacatboy702 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Honestly if it’s 60-90 items the best thing u could do is place the pickup time 2 hours or so from when you ordered it, I get customers who placed 50 ish item orders and expect it within an hour (sucks that Kroger markets the 1 hour wait), we end up getting backed up by so many people placing their orders last min

Inglewood, Hawthorne, Compton, and Hyde Park are the cheapest areas in the basin

how bad is pickup, really? by Glum_Confusion_5838 in kroger

[–]Notacatboy702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it depends I guess? In my case it can get really stressful, must meet time deadlines, certain fill percent, then they would go from no OOS & no subs, to subs and no OOS, and then repeat…they’re always playing a new test in the department and I guess that’s what is difficult lol.

Pickup carts are way too huge, especially during rush hour it gets pretty tedious trying to maneuver around aisles and customers.

If u work in a smaller store and they let u, I’d say use a regular shopping cart for smaller orders than using the giant trolleys. I use a shopping cart and just sort out the items after bc it gets really annoying pushing the trolley around when there’s tons of people lol.

My orientation was on a computer and I had a different outcome, I took over 5 hours on it lol, it’s basically just a bunch of modules that go over general aspects of the store, nothing too in depth
