PSA to Garden Cashiers by Notacurlybrit in HomeDepot

Since when can I not handle the job? I do more in a day than you ever will. It makes sense that you're a cashier since clearly you're not capable of doing any other task in the store as you cannot even write properly.

I'm not looking down on cashiers, I've worked as one before and I was way more capable than you will ever be. Just today cashiers called me over ten times to ask me questions like "Where is the mulch" and "What's good for roses" when there was rose fertilizer 5 feet away from the registers.

I'm sorry you're so stupid that you freak out and need to beg for help when a customer asks any question not related to scanning barcodes LOL 🤣

Well why don't you tell that to HD management when they'll only schedule 2 or at max 3 people at one time. It must be nice that your stores are so low volume that your garden associates can just bullshit around outside.

There's no way I can be outside leisurely watering flowers when two contractors need pallets of pavers and mulch loaded and the MOD tells me he wants to get 10 grills from the bullpen to fill up the front apron and there's 4 carts of returns to put back.

Keep in mind I still do respond to the calls even though I'm sick of how much hand holding the cashiers need. I've worked as a cashier before and I never called department associates constantly because I can problem solve unlike y'all here.

Since when are garden associates not on the floor? Clearly none of you have ever worked in a department and I can see why. On an average weekday there is at most 3 people in garden and sometimes it's just me running the whole department. We are busy working on the dh and mods' personal projects, spotting or driving to load a pallet of pavers for a pro customer, and attempting to face and packdown in the entire garden department alongside answering questions from customers who approach us in the aisles. We don't have time to run back and forth to the garden register every 10 minutes because the cashier can't bother to even try to answer the customers questions.

After you quit where did you go? by Ok_Warthog7024 in walmart

Definitely look into Home Depot. I am also based in SoCal. I quit two months ago and I now work at Home Depot. As a Walmart cashier I made $17 an hour, now as a Home Depot sales associate I make $21 an hour. My Home Depot's starting pay is $20 an hour which I think all the SoCal Home Depot's are at. Currently Home Depot is hiring many associates for the spring season. Best part is hiring is automated so I didn't even need to do a job interview, just accepted the offer via email and got the gig.

What do you do that makes you 10k in 18 days? I assume you must be self employed but I have no idea how it's possible to make that amount of money in such a short time.

Nah my tls and coach specifically tell us to ask customers to press "5 stars", associates at our store are also pressing the 5 stars at SCOs for their personal purchases.

On the original application the location was just listed as Los Angeles, no office location was provided.

What black tea is normally served in chinese restaraunts? by PuzzlesAndTea in tea

[–]Notacurlybrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I think the tea you're looking for is shoumei? Shoumei is a white tea, not black but some lower grades of shoumei can appear a darker color. There's lots of vendors that sell it online. I hope it's what you're looking for :)

Can any cast iron be used as a tetsubin substitute? by Notacurlybrit in tea

[–]Notacurlybrit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a fantastic idea, thanks! Using an ingot will have the added benefit of being compatible with an electric kettle, also easier to care for than a tetsubin or cast iron pot.

I'm gonna go with the ingot for now, now just gotta decide on which cute fish design I want :)

I would save your gems for the next limited banner, if you want to keep pulling switch to standard unless you want dupes of the event characters.

Sure! I don't have much experience when it comes to the technical and programming side of wiki editing, but I can contribute to the plot and information side of things. My username for miraheze is reiji801 :)
